  1. We're guaranteed Europa Football; we're guaranteed the F.A Cup final, and David Moyes is going to make the most of it. However, with a month away, I would be lying if I said I wasn't at least a bit frightened. In my opinion, Yobo is a quality defender, in great form, up there with the best. But since his injury, I don't think he's picked up, I think his concentration has decreased over time and his decision making has gotten poor. The good thing, like stated, is that we're guaranteed Europa Football. So, the next Premier League games will be training for Yobo until the F.A cup. My fear? He was injury prone as it was (to tell you the truth, I don't think he's fully recovered); if he goes down, would he have to rely on Jack Rodwell or would Phil Neville switch to CB?

Also, I think Gosling should start a few games. 19 and twice the player of Osman in his current poor form. Will be a star.

  2. For fucks sake, start Leon FUCKING OSMAN who, after 10 minutes into the Chelsea game, was completely invisible after playing 120 in the FA cup; the dude was so fucked today and fatigued - should have been on the bench with Gosling starting.

First goal would not have come if Moyes started Lescott/Jagielka. Yobo has proven why he deserves to be third to arguably the best two centre back pair in the league. He heads the ball straight to Elano where the space was exploited; was falling over his feet all day, misstiming headers, horrible stuff; Lescott would have cleaned the scraps and the opportunity for first goal would not have happened. Granted, it was a nice pass, but damn if Yobo didn't fuck around before hand it would not have happened.

The sting came out of me with the substitutions. Gosling is coming on, all good! NOT. Castillo, Fellaini, and Saha come off - NO FUCKING OSMAN. OSMAN IS FINDING IT HARD TO FUCKING MAKE A TOUCH AND HIS FATIGUE IS GONE YET MOYES KEEPS HIM ON AND BRINGS CASTILLO AND FELLAINI, TOO MEN WHO WERE STILL RUNNING, OFF. Vaughan and Cahill upped the tempo and Dan Gosling proved, with his great touch to goal, why he should have started before Osman.

Oh, and Yobo better UP HIS FUCKING GAME, because Jagielka has done his knee and knowing our fucking luck he's out for the season.

Osman should have gotten a rest and Gosling should have started. Simple.

Man of the Match, Leighton Baines; is deeper than Osman yet still gets into better positions.

  4. When Howard saved both consecutive penalties I fell to the ground with no weight; no feeling, substance or emotion; then I kicked around and had a massive fit and my arms were going beserk; it was a play on my emotions.

To go to penalties was scary enough, to have Cahill punt it like a volley ball sealed the door shut and had me shaking an un-controllable shake, but for the opposite to happen, a come back in a penalty shoot out which I can't remember the last exact date we won one, gave me an emotion that makes me proud to be an evertonian.

  5. agreed showing the form he had a few years back when he almost got into the england side!

    for me it would be

    Howard

    Hibbert Jagielka Lescott Baines

    Neville

    Pienaar/Osman Arteta Cahill

    Fellaini

    Yakubu

just dont like pienaar and osman in the same midfield cos up against physical opposition they get knocked off the ball too easy cos of their stature. arteta can play is way out of it a bit and cahill and neville a bit stronger and tougher and then fellaini obviously a big lad and i think he is great up front and cant wait to see him work with the yak!

    Spot on.

  6. Out:

    Segundo Castillo

    Victor Anichebe (3 mil)

    Andy Van der Meyde

    Lars Jacobsen

    Louis Saha (4mil)

    In:

    Joao Moutinho (10 mil)

    Victor Obinna (Loan)

    Michael Owen (Free)

    Miguel Veloso (8mil)

    1. Howard

    2. Hibbert

    6. Jagielka ©

    5. Lescott

    3. Baines

    10. Mikel Arteta

    8. Miguel Veloso

    28. Joao Moutinho

    7. Victor Obinna

    17. Tim Cahill

    9. Michael Owen

    Subs:

    24. Carlo Nash

    4. Joseph Yobo

    18. Phil Neville

    20. Stephen Pienaar

    21. Leon Osman

    25. Marouane Fellaini

    22. Yakubu

    Reserves:

    12. Ian Turner

    14. James Vaughan

    19. Nuno Valente

    26. Jack Rodwell

    32. Dan Gosling

    37. Jose Baxter

We have a lot more squad depth, players like Yakubu, Fellaini, Osman, Neville and Pienaar not making the side, Vaughan not making the 18.

Fellaini cost 15 M + I don't think he'd be on the bench; furthermore he has loads of potential and gets on the scoresheet regularly.

  7. I believe we can do it. Pienaar and Osman are breaking into their best form and it is needed for an occasion like this - Jagielka and Lescott will keep us protected and Yobo may be fit and we may shift Jagielka to RB (it will help to stop them scoring from corners as we will have three powerful heads opposed to Jacobsen who falls over marking the post). We will be deadly from the set piece as we usually are, Cahill and Fellaini will do their stuff and don't forget James Vaughan will come on in the second half!

Speaking of Fellaini, it is now his chance to step up. I predict he will hold the ball up well and we need a bit of insurance; please find the right passes and please win the headers and I think we'll be a force up front.

    2-1

    Fellaini

    Vidic

    Vaughan

    BELIEVE.
