The Arsenal team that will stroll past us, is that the same Arsenal team that lost at home to Blackburn today!....and the Oldham team we should be beating, is the same team that BEAT the liverpool team you think will also stroll past us.....just doesn't add up!
Yes and yes.
Makes my stomach sink but I think it will happen.

I'm not surprised.
The performances over the last three months have told me all. We'll not get top four and I wouldn't be surprised if we sink a few places while Liverpool, Swansea & Arsenal slowly stroll past us.
Lacking in ideas. Lacking in funds. A manager who will wait until the end of the season before making his move (which I think will be away).
I can't understand it - the players we have should be beating teams like Oldham.
The lack of depth, the lack of top-draw players (which I don't count Jelly as), everything is set up to make every game, whether against Oldham or Manchester United, a slog.
I'm a positive Everton fan (.....I know....) and I want David Moyes to resign but I find it hard to see how we're supposed to look at european football. I mean, seriously..
I'm really upset at this result so you should probably ignore all of this waffle.
....sigh....

We have to start killing games like this.
End of.

Is this on terrestrial television?
(Channel 5 have been pimping their coverage of the tournament so I'd expect it to be on somewhere?)

Veetle link is brilliant.
Result isn't

Any links for this? None of the village boozers have ESPN :/

Surely all you Dunc fans will have invested in the hard-AS-F*CK-back already?

Super-goal! He's played his socks off for us this season.
Top man

Another player who I'm happy to see get on the scoresheet. He's a great buy, playing well. Lets see Jo get a couple
-
Watching Yobo's prematch interview I thought he represented everything I love about this club. Loyalty and passion. Couldn't wish for a better man to score. Cracking goal and playing well

Anichebe!..........He's had time to think about his Everton future, if he wants it bad enough, I think we'll see a Victor out on that pitch.

This link will work on any machine powerful enough to handle it, so as long as you're not working on a 386 you should be in business.

And how many times have you seen a striker charging about in acres of space whilst you hold your head in your hands moaning "Hibbo!!!!"?
-
Love the guy as an Everton player (in terms of attitude and work-rate) - just don't think he's good enough. Its not just about the cup final.
-
Where did you get that from?
If Lescott had come out and said "I don't want to move" I'd have an awful lot more faith in him as a footballer in terms of attitude towards this club. You can see he loves Everton in the way he plays/celebrates and I wish more footballers would express gratitude toward their club by publicly stating their feelings. Sadly agents, "advisors" and mates/hangers-on seem to have too much say in affairs these days. I think he'll go and I think we'll get 18 million or 10million and a player. If Lescott doesn't want to be here then I'd take either.
-
Anyone who thinks that right-back isn't a priority needs to watch the FA Cup final again.
-
haha
I will also be disapointed in lescott if he leaves, we need to start keeping our main assets, moyes has come out an said in recent weeks, that we don't have to sell, so stick with the plan and don't sell. Hopefully lescott is happy enough not to stick in a transfer request, but i suppsoe we will have to wait and see
It would be nice to hear a footballer say that they're happy at the club that has supported and nurtured their career, that has big plans and wants him to be an integral part their success. Sadly we all know that when a manager says "...... is not for sale" it means "we would like more money or you can feck off" and when a player says "I'm under contract at this club" it means "I would like more money or I'm fecking off".
Sad but true.

If he goes i will feel really disapointed in the guy, after all, if he goes he going for 1 thing
MONEY
Being disappointed in a footballer for pursuing fame and riches is a bit like being surprised and shocked when a politician fiddles expenses.

This 100%. Sort the frontline out (wouldn't be surprised to see a 'hang the daft prices' January purchase of a striker) and we'll have balance and depth across the pitch.
This season will be fraught but enjoyable.
