We are in full “Trust the Process” mode as Frank has mentioned. In some ways we started from scratch. Will take time but it’s nice to see a clear plan and to see that plan starting to take shape on the field. The overwhelming sense under Frank for me is that, Win or lose, we are a team rather than a collection of individuals. The commitment has been noticeable.

This 100%. Sort the frontline out (wouldn't be surprised to see a 'hang the daft prices' January purchase of a striker) and we'll have balance and depth across the pitch.

This season will be fraught but enjoyable.

    Frank is the man.

  2. The Arsenal team that will stroll past us, is that the same Arsenal team that lost at home to Blackburn today!....and the Oldham team we should be beating, is the same team that BEAT the liverpool team you think will also stroll past us.....just doesn't add up!

    Yes and yes.

Makes my stomach sink but I think it will happen.

  3. I'm not surprised.

The performances over the last three months have told me all. We'll not get top four and I wouldn't be surprised if we sink a few places while Liverpool, Swansea & Arsenal slowly stroll past us.

Lacking in ideas. Lacking in funds. A manager who will wait until the end of the season before making his move (which I think will be away).

I can't understand it - the players we have should be beating teams like Oldham.

The lack of depth, the lack of top-draw players (which I don't count Jelly as), everything is set up to make every game, whether against Oldham or Manchester United, a slog.

I'm a positive Everton fan (.....I know....) and I want David Moyes to resign but I find it hard to see how we're supposed to look at european football. I mean, seriously..

I'm really upset at this result so you should probably ignore all of this waffle.

    ....sigh....

  4. Where did you get that from?

If Lescott had come out and said "I don't want to move" I'd have an awful lot more faith in him as a footballer in terms of attitude towards this club. You can see he loves Everton in the way he plays/celebrates and I wish more footballers would express gratitude toward their club by publicly stating their feelings. Sadly agents, "advisors" and mates/hangers-on seem to have too much say in affairs these days. I think he'll go and I think we'll get 18 million or 10million and a player. If Lescott doesn't want to be here then I'd take either.

  5. haha

I will also be disapointed in lescott if he leaves, we need to start keeping our main assets, moyes has come out an said in recent weeks, that we don't have to sell, so stick with the plan and don't sell. Hopefully lescott is happy enough not to stick in a transfer request, but i suppsoe we will have to wait and see :)

It would be nice to hear a footballer say that they're happy at the club that has supported and nurtured their career, that has big plans and wants him to be an integral part their success. Sadly we all know that when a manager says "...... is not for sale" it means "we would like more money or you can feck off" and when a player says "I'm under contract at this club" it means "I would like more money or I'm fecking off".

    Sad but true.
