  1. What is your opinion of Moyes? I think he has done a fantastic job. What is the next move forward for you? Dunno what the ref was on today: - Wrongly disallowed goal - City should have had a penalty - Fellaini should have been off - Milner should have been off - Wrong bookings all over the pitch for both teams. - Didn't know when to give a foul or not
  2. You play like the best team in Europe against us again, give us a hiding, and yet you still won't make the top four? What is wrong with your team? Admittedly I don't watch Everton much but every time you play us, you play off the planet. Yet I will see you play Stoke or Wigan, and you are utter garbage!!
  3. As a City fan, I agree with this poster....lol.
  4. Would just like to say how much more sensible the people are on here than that other Everton forum. The thing that is happening with us this year is that when one player is shut down, like you say you will shut down Tevez, then another player shines....Bellamy, Adebayor, SWP, and with Robbie just finding fitness for the first time this year after his broken leg (which people seem to forget about) it is his turn now. I think Robbie will cause you most problems on saturday. Looking forward to the midfield battle though. I think De Jong and Vieira will sit in midfield for us with Barry being rested. Bellamy will most likely be rested as well.
  5. It is winning fixtures like these that means we are sitting quite nicely in the top 4 and you are not. I am quite surprised how confident you all are at beating the hardest team to beat in the league this year.
  6. How very naeve ^^ You are saying you would want to play pressing football against a team that sits behind the ball and hoofs it up field rather than sit back, outplay them and win 4-1? *sigh* Oh yes, good luck by the way in trying to ruffle up De Jong in midfield.
  7. It was indeed Everton who first went public of our pursuit though and then didn't like the fact that it was public. Hypocritical. And it does not matter if we do not get Lescott. We will easily move on. But what damage will have this done to Everton? The damage is already evident in a 6-1 loss so to say no damage would be ignorant.
  8. Talk about self-contradictory statements ¬¬ I do understand, you do not listen. I am simply trying to talk about how you lot think Moyes has handled what he is trying to do and how you think he should do it. But you cannot see that for yourself as you do not read what I post.
  9. £30m is very unrealistic and if that is now the stance then the best Everton will get is a return offer in Jan for £12-14m. One player does not make a team, you are correct, but it is astonishing what negativity looming over a club can cause. Surely the best option is for Moyes to be rid of Lescott now? The damage is done. While I can see the principle of what Moyes is trying to do, I do not consider what he is doing to be very effective at all. He may achieve the finger up at City but at what cost?
  10. The way he decides to tell Lescott to go sit in the naughty corner? That is really going to help the situation. And to think that Lescott will be willing and everything will be sorted after the transfer deadline is quite deluded. He could have dealt with it differently like showing Lescott how valued he is and how much he is appreciated and maybe offering a new contract? ala JT. I think that is really poor man management which has seemingly so far backfired very bad. If anything he has simply lowered what he will now potentially get for Lescott. Moyes should have dealt with the whole situation differently by taking a stance in a different manner and if that is still not possible he should concede defeat otherwise I don't think the Arsenal result will be the last.
  11. I believe Moyes has really shot himself in the foot with all this. It would not surprise me if City simply return to the original £15m offer now. Terrible, terrible management. Moyes really has not handled this whole affair well. As Everton fans, are you not starting to get a bit embarassed by his statements, self-contradictions and delusions?
  12. Sorry? As far as I knew Caicedo, Bojinov, Jo and Petrov are all still City players... Caicedo, Boj, and Jo being sent out on loan to get experience as they are all still very young. Moyes' PR plan must be working really well because all Everton supporters seem to think he is being victimised in all this. Do you really think deep down that that is the case? Moyes has been in this from the word go....
  13. It is true he has lost his way but for a defender that is so young he has massive amounts of experience and has enormous amounts of potential. He has years to go before he reaches his prime yet. Similar to Onuoha except that Onuoha had a good season last season as opposed to Richards. It was a bit of a set back for Richards but he still has a long way to go yet and if he does ever reach his full potential he will be immense. It's a big IF though as like you said, he seems to have lost his way a bit.
