  1. It's frustrating as you can tell his brain is still quick, it's his body that lets him down. He gets pissed off with himself when he places a bad pass or had a bad touch, it's as if what used to come so naturally is now not a given. If he looked after himself (likes Giggs) he'd still be absolute class, sadly he looks ten years older than he is!

  2. The whole Moshiri/Usmanov thing stinks and if anyone claims they didn't already know that then they are burying their head in the sand. USM sponsorship? Share Gifts? Moshiri was Usmanovs accountant/financial advisor for years and the two are one in the same. I hate to say it but this was kind of inevitable.

EDIT: this is not a dig exclusively at Everton. This is a dig at big business.

Shock horror - post-soviet billionaire Russian is corrupt! Post-revolution Iranian billionaire has ulterior motive!

  3. We are now one of the richest clubs in the PL, if not Europe, with potentially another big pot of money for player spending in January. We also have a new stadium in the pipeline and a huge number of assets in our squad. Why on earth shouldn't we be able to get a so-called big manager? I have a lot of respect for what Dyche has done at Burnley but I can't help but feel completely underwhelmed by all the names we are linked to.

  4. Feeling positive for the first time in a while. I really want Unsworth to smash it and get the job. If you look at Tuchels history he started as a youth manager before being promoted to first team management at Mainz where he spent a year or two before going onto Dortmund for a year or two. He has had success but there's no reason why we shouldn't believe that Unsworth or similar will make the transition successfully. Tuchel has the reputation because he was given the opportunity to step up from the u-23s team. Let's all get behind Unsworth and stop[ worrying about which 'big-name' manager we hope for!
