Id go with Toffee's team myself, 2-0 to the blues.
Dont think Earny played for WBA in the cup nope Robson doesnt rate him.
-
weir has been our player of the season so far !!!!!!!!!!!!!
sarcasm mode off
I think you missed of the "worst" bit in that!
-
Better than Beattie, bit gutted about Anelka snub though.
Earnshaw 2 mill and maybe Trundle 1 mill?
That would be two strikers in at 500k spend even we have that money dont we??
-
Ive more chance of pulling of Mcfadden than this transfer happening
wouldnt be bad Dutch Duo on the wings
-
On what basis is this? only played one game through injury and then Moyes wouldnt drop Weir, we have signed far worse players IMO, given time im sure he will come good and if we sell him we sill get back what we paid.
-
Skunts will have more midfielders than Spurs at this rate
-
Would prefer Anelka but if we sell Bent id replace him with Earnie yeah he is a better player and can score.
-
feed the Goat and he will score
-
Yeah agree and said before midfield is probably where we are the strongest. Need to focus on other areas.
-
i wouldnt mind him. but being kept out the WBA team by campbell and horsefield is pretty concering
Yeah but this is more to do with attitude than ability Robson doesnt like him. He aint a bad player and he cant find that back of the net. Id have him for a bench warmer better than Bent but still need a better striker to partner Beattie.
-
So did I some french team? hope he doesnt sign for us no better than what we have
-
hope its true
-
Rooney - 23m
Graveson - 2.5m
Not many clubs made more money than us either remember
-
He aint as bad as everyone makes out, a good squad player IMO
-
Yeah I posted that in the Everton V Pompey page just our luck hey.
-
So getting back to the point boys
Whenever we get drawn against lower devision teams we struggle, premiership opposition may be just what we need!
COYB
Boro in the Carling Cup? perhaps if we go in as underdogs it may inspire us who knows depends what Everton team turns up i guess
-
Bellemy has still scored more than our top striker.
-
Pompey sign Spurs trio
Portsmouth have snapped up Tottenham trio Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis and Noe Pamarot.
All three are in line to play against Everton at the weekend after Harry Redknapp's remarkable raid on White Hart Lane.
Just our luck hey!
-
Yeah but he is a centre half after all im sure John Terry, Ferdinand would be a bit out of place at full back aswell. Plus he is new to the team and that position, I thought he done ok at full back and by all accounts very well at centre back better than Weir and Per anyways.
-
I still think Chelsea isnt the toughest team we could have gotten as they will not be focusing on the Cup as much as say Utd or Arsenal who realistically are out of the race for the league.
They will field a weekend team like SWP, Cudichini, Cole, Gudjohnson, Gerami, Houth, Bridge, Johnson etc oh yeah we are buggered!

. Benni McCarthy is a perfect example of an African player who desparately wants to play in England and I have no doubt would jump at the chance to join Everton. He has played in Holland (Ajav), Spain (Celta Vigo) and Portugal (Porto) but England is where he and many others want to play.
Get the scouts to Cairo instead of raiding the Scottish / Lower divisions for inferior British players.
He almost signed for us last season agreed terms etc put Porto pulled the plug at the last minute
-
Plus he was recommended by Grave aswell? im sure its not the case of wrong player.
Also he cant be that bad if they want him back, but only time will tell.
-
Would that be english prem? that would rule out Larsson aswell wouldnt it?
-
Must be ok aswell if they are all interested sounds promising

I can seeing he isnt a first teamer plus he has upset the apple cart with his comments and he appealed to the FA to investigate his transfer from Cardiff to WBA. I would say the club will want rid of him.
