  1. Its the effort for me with Barkley that's the problem, time and time again a player just walks past him, no effort to challenge, to pressure or to win the ball back. Maybe these are the instructions he receives from the manager? I don't know but you look at other young players in the league and they are excelling and Barkley is going backwards.
  2. Pardew is as bad as what we have, garbage at Newcastle and garbage at Palace. How people think he is a good manager baffles me.
  3. Moyes shouts? So we can no longer refer to a previous manager. I was referring to Martinez's first year and the defense and fitness rates Moyes left behind. I wasnt suggesting he comes back
  4. I would, I think under Moyes we were a very fit team which meant we could play for the full 90+ mins. under Martinez we seem to be knackered with 15/20 mins to go i think this is something that has led to a lot of errors..
  5. I like Lukaku but I'm actually hoping he leaves in the Summer. He's a great goalscorer for his age but his attitude these last few months has been awful, he hasn't put a shift in since the Chelsea FA Cup game. His heart isn't in it anymore, he seems more fixed on thinking of a move away rather than helping the team. If we are offered anything over £50m id take it, if we get a quality player in return then all the better.
  6. He's been in charge for 3 seasons now, I think if his good season would have been the middle season or this one then people would still be behind him but i think now the first good season was a fluke based on a more attacking style and a solid defense and work ethic left behind by Moyes. After he messed up the beginning of our second season being a pundit in Brazil and therefore leaving us with a garbage pre-season and lack of fitness he has taken us 3 steps back. I don't actually believe there is a good manager 'in there' anymore, once i did but he just seems clueless and full of sh*t. watching Spurs is heartbreaking as it shows how far they have progressed and how far we have fallen.
  7. Harsh to single out one player. the whole team bar one or two individuals have been poor for 2 seasons. Even the ones that have done fairly well have only done that in spells. I agree that Martinez seems to have made our best performers look very average.
  8. Our style of play is perfect for them, we are so slow and lacklustre.
  9. Not looking forward to this at all. I think we will be embarrassed tomorrow. 3 or 4 nil.
  10. Wijnaldum is the only one id sign from any of the relegated teams. Shame we didnt sign him in the summer.
  11. Im never fully confident going into a Derby as i imagine most aren't but i am dreading tomorrow! The lack of fight, intensity and passion in our team is awful and its all down to Martinez, Hate to say it but i think we are going to get tonked tomorrow night!
  12. Don't shoot the messenger haha. I was only stating what i had seen.
  13. Few twitter rumours stating Jürgen Klinsmann is being heavily linked with replacing Martinez.
  14. I think he will be gone pretty soon to be honest. it will take a drastic turn around to keep his job but even then i think his days are numbered. Palace, Southampton & Liverpool next 3 games - i honestly cant see us winning any of those after recent performances.
  15. Eddie Howe and Sean Dyche! lets aim a little higher. We need a manager that can attract top players, id also like a manager that would help to raise our profile. Neither of those could do that.
  16. Even before the investment i would have been unhappy with this.
  17. Seen a tweet yesterday laughing at the thought of us being relegated next season. I think if Martinez stays then that's a very real possibility next season. Our form over the last 2 seasons is extremely worrying, we are just lucky other teams have been much worse.
  18. Moyes is an easy choice for the Bookies id imagine. I don't know how id feel about him coming back. Personally i think there are better options and id like someone new. In fairness to Moyes though he kept us top 7, a few cup runs and all with no money.
  19. Leicester winning the league if they do is great. it certainly highlights how far away we are at the same time. We are going backwards, fast! Villa should be an example to everyone involved at Everton.
  20. I don't think it would save him tbh, before the investment 100% but I have a feeling things will be different now. Our players look unhappy and the fans certainly are. It is obvious he isn't the man to take us forward. I think winning the FA Cup would allow him to leave with dignity and would suit both parties.
  21. I actually think sacking him now would do us better moving forward this season. My opinion is he has lost the players and him going just before the Semi final could be just what we need.
