really pleased with the way that cahill and ossie hassled and worried the Villa defence yesterday too - a real surprise and unexpected to be honest. on the other hand, this solution is not the answer, it's just a temporary one. i can't see it working against to many teams, sadly. what we really need is saha to get fit and Stracq to shape up quickly and be good enough for a first team slot. it's a useful back up ploy, but i'm afraid that we are going to be stuck with it most of the season. i hope neither ossie or cahill get injured!

To be fair could have gone to felli, baines or ossie, but went for Cahill just because he was a constant pain for the defence playing up front out of position. a lesser defender than Dunne (who played well today, and needed to) would have struggled i think.
