  1. don't see the fuss about neville being called up ahead of beans, neville is a right back. wayne bridge should be the question...what's he done of late?

having said that baines' form recently hasn't been what it was, been too wasteful last month or so. ashley cole is the best in the country at the minute by a mile, baines wouldn't get a look in anyways.

Wouldnt even want him near my squad - the most one footed player ive ever seen...shame he scored with his right peg yesterday :P .

Honestly think cole is a liability and he should be our target at the cup final, just dont get how he's so well rated (and this has nothing to do with me thinking he's a tool)!

  2. Have used another forum whereby if you hover your mouse over a topic heading, it reveals the first few lines of that post. This is quite useful as often the topic heading can be misleading and you can end up clicking on a post that doesnt really interest you afterall.

If this is already in place maybe i'm doin something wrong cos it doesnt work for me.

  3. Simple fact is, he'll have to make it to some degree as we cant afford 15m to go to waste.

Not too happy with some of his hospital passes in this match but he's doin alright, just not an exciting type of player.

Straight red for cahill - you havin a laff??!!

  4. Who do you think is your most important player(s)?

    Arteta, Cahill, Howard, Yak

    Your worst player(s)?

    Phil Nev

Do you have a particular memory of any previous meeting between our clubs? Say something that happened to you that day or a decision you disagreed with?

On honeymoon watching the 3-0 win back in sep 06, oh and the missus is a red! (Didnt get any that night) :P

Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?

    Torres

Do you hate Liverpool fans, and why?

No, have no feelings towards any team/fans other than the blues, also half my mates are reds.

    Care to predict the score?

Prefer not to if that's ok!

  5. So many and so little time...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jsBCEmKle_c - The goal we would all love to have scored!

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_OZmixtMByY - The fat bastard when he was good. Pains me now to watch it.

Duncan v liverpool in royles first match (couldn't spot it on youtube), we were in the sh*t before that match.

Also, a special mention to paul rideout v man utd in 95 and amokachi v spurs in the semi.

  6. From the OS: Castillo, known to his parents as Segundo Alejandro Castillo Nazareno, began his career in his homeland with Club Deportivo Espoli and later El Nacional.

That must have been a right mouthful when they were calling him in for his tea! What's wrong with just 'Seg'?!

Hope he does the biz, quite surprised there's been no official confirmation of whether or not a price has been agreed if we want to buy (not what the price actually is, just that one has been agreed in advance).

  7. OOOHHH no he isn't, OHHH yes hes is. (Sorry).

    ...you should be! :P

I'm still confident everythng will work out just about ok, we'll sign 3 or 4 decent players but not enough to push the top 4, DM will sign his contract etc. I just think we've missed out on really pushing harder for a top 4 by not getting top players in quicker to get them used to each other. Cant help but feel the USA trip couldve hindered us (even tho i know we'll have benefitted greatly from it).

  8. It's about £15.5m - surely we can stretch to that if he really is our no.1 target and one of the best midfieldrs in europe.

Reports in portugal though are saying we've bid £16.5m which I doubt if his mimimum release is less.

If £15.5m got him i'm hoping we'd stil have £10m+ to spend afterwrds...get me Cana (i'd be just as happy)!

  9. Of course he will see it as a better option, it is in the city isn't it?........sorry, sorry, I know there I go again.

Personally, shared stadium is a mahoosive resounding NO. With a shared stadium we would have no presence or image. People may say it works in other countries but it would not work for this scenario.

Works very well in other countries.

Best example I can think of is AC/Inter Milan, and the San Siro is cracking!

:lol::lol: That couldn't have been scripted any better! :P
