    Went with Gibson. He was tidy on the ball and distributed it well. Hopefully, he can stay off of the physio's table and keep putting in shifts like that. Howard and Lukaku were dreadful. Martinez, once again, waited too long to bring on Mirallas.

    Howard has to be dropped. There are just no words for Lukaku... normally, he makes up for his heavy touch by finishing opportunities like the ones he had to day, but he can't be defended when he misses.

    Read back, I said Henderson was. I think the exact opposite about Henderson's reaction. He wanted it. The designated penalty-taker is just that: designated. It doesn't matter if Gerrard has taken a million penalties. He wasn't on the pitch; he had nothing to do with that situation.

    Also, Henderson was captain on the night. Folks gave Jags shit when he didn't say anything to Mirallas.

    Besides the fact that Balotelli made his pen, how is this situation any different than Mirallas taking the pen off of Baines? Gerrard has come out and said it was disrespectful, because Henderson was the designated taker on the night. I'm pretty sure you were one of the ones on Mirallas -- as was I -- when he missed his pen.
