eddie blue Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 just heard he will cost 250 thousand thats the budget gone then!!!! Quote
Sprooly Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 THEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he plays for Melborune Vicotry who have just thumped the defending champs 5-0 at home, he is the best keeper in the a league by far... he is good but not great and proberly wouldnt expect first team football either, he will most likely join if given a contract, he has really improved over the last 2 years, haha i never thought that Everton would be buying from my local team Melbourne no need to hit the panic stations cause he isnt that bad would be a good backup IMO Quote
Jimmy the blue Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Apparently the 27yr old Australian goalkeeper will be signing tomorrow as backup for Tim Howard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Theoklitos I was right then Louis, the missing keeper Quote
troy8 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 hahaha are they serious? ok yeah ill take a backup keeper, but somebody from the a-league??? you may as well keep turner on the bench. being an aussie i do have to back the a-league, and i do think its doing a lot of good for the game in australia, but no im sorry i dont think somebody who hasnt been able to make it in europe before and has never played for the socceroos will not be much use in a club like everton, especially coming directly from an a-league club. saying that though, it wouldnt be too bad seeing another aussie player at the club.. Sprooly Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 well troy he is the best keeper in the aleague and was one of the best players in the league last season, how many times did he save victory from a draw... typical sydney sider... lol it would be great for the league though and meh why ont take a punt on him Quote

Jesse11 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 i thought i should get in on this australian love affair you two are having. i actually can't stand the a-league but theo isn't really that bad. definantly not premier league quality but is good for the a-league. And im a geelong man so at least one of the clubs i support has their act together. Quote
Bill Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 :offtopic: :offtopic: Do you peeps want to start your own thread about aussie rules and where you do or dont live, this one is supposed to be a rumour about a goalie signing on, your going way off topic and ruining the thread. Cheers. Quote
