Im not saying they create their own fixture lists or anything but I bet they get decent starts & ends to the season.... Plus I think its quite rare that they play each other one game after another.... The report does suggest such things are considered "These might include issues such as potentially sensitive fixtures being played on the opening or final weekends of the season and derby fixtures taking place in midweek." Dangermouse - I read that as clubs not wanting Derbys first or last day of the season. It'll be interesting to see what requests if any Everton want. I remember a few seasons ago Everton requested Aston Villa as the first opponent because Villa have spent the second longest time in top flight - the request was rejected.
