blueblood
Looks like Chelsea and Inter Milan are having similar success withuot using FM though. Not a chance in hell of signing this lad unless he pulls an EU passport from somewhere. Inter however will manage to sign him no problem

iggy
If for some reason Inter didn't want him, and there was only Chelsea and Everton who were keen to sign him following trials, wouldn't Chelsea's ban on purchasing players restrict them from getting him? Not if this from the BBC) is anything to go by......... Croatian keeper 'to join Chelsea' Croatian side Inter Zapresic claim they have agreed a deal with Chelsea that will see their teenage goalkeeper Matej Delac move to Stamford Bridge in 2011. The 17-year-old will stay in Croatia with Chelsea paying his wages. But he will train with the Blues whenever possible before joining on a five-year contract, Zapresic claim. Chelsea are banned from registering new players until 2011 after they were found to have induced Gael Kakuta to breach his contract with Lens. Zapresic sporting director Branko Laljak said: "This deal will save us from bankruptcy. "We are proud to have sold one of our players to one of the strongest clubs in the world." Delac, who only turned 17 in August, broke the record for the youngest Croatian player ever called up for international duty when Slaven Bilic named him in his squad to face England at Wembley earlier this month. So it's business as usual really, they just can't field any new players before then. Edited September 18, 2009 by iggy
