MikeO Posted October 15, 2010 Report Share Posted October 15, 2010 He had minimal success other than when he was at City under Joe Mercer, it always annoyed and bemused my dad why he got so much credit when it was Mercer's team. When he was on his own there he was inept. As a side issue I met his wife (of the time, no idea if she still is/was) several times in the '70/'80's.
