However, he has been given only a one-year contract at PSV after the club tore up his previous deal after Reis failed a drugs test in January. Dutch publicationElf Voetbal reports that both Everton boss David Moyes and Fulham's Mark Hughes are interested in taking advantage of Reis' short-term deal.

Should either Everton or Fulham sign Reis, they will be purchasing a player likely to make the headlines for the wrong reasons as well as for his football. Reis was recently found to have been drink-driving.

 

Sounds like he lacks discipline or just doesn't really care (disruptive influence?), not sure even Moyes could "tame" him.......

He is a brilliant footballer however. Scored 3 in PSV's 10-0 trashing of Feyenoord. Piet De Visser, a (former?) Chelsea-scout who discovered Ronaldo and Adriano thinks he'll Brazil's number 9 in the 2014 World Cup.
