Yeah OK our strikers haven't been great but there have been so many games this season where we've just passed it around in front of the opposition back four without any invention and instead of getting in behind them that in a lot of games it wouldn't have made a difference which striker was playing. I disagree I suppose its a bit of a chicken and the egg scenario but I think the reason we do keep having to pass the ball around in front of the opposition is because we havent had any movement from the forwards. I firmly beleive that if we had a forward who was intelligent enough to make a decent run in to space then we have more than enough quality in our midfield for one of them to be able to get the ball through to them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
