Howard Wants To End Career At Everton

Howard says he'd like to retire at Everton if possible.

No arguments from me, he must have at least another six years in him. He's the best keeper we've had since Nigel Martyn.

“I would like to finish my career here,”

“Unfortunately there is always a business side to football - everyone understands that - but as far as I am concerned, if Everton will have me, I am staying put.”

Absolutely agree with you Louis, cannot think of anybody that I would rather have than Mr. Howard, has been known to make the odd hiccup every now and again, but he is coming into goalkeepers prime, and we cannot ask for better!!

Howards had a good season for us.

If I had to pick three players this season who have done "the business", I'd go with Howard, Baines and Coleman.

Others have done what was expected of them, some have been only average and some poor.

But those three (Howard, Baines and Coleman) come out top for me.

I'd have thought the only keepers in the prem better than him are on way better money, so maybe he's the best we can afford.

Either way, great season (so far  ) Mr Howard, same again for the next three or four seasons please!!
