campbell is still a good defender. he's getting on and obviously he feels it. if he gets his emotional state right he's got a lot to offer whoever gets him.

 

but his wages will not be what they were at arsenal.

i think we would be a bit better with cambell because he is a great defender but we would not be happy paying him 80k that is just greedy  :angry:

News of the Screws quotes a £40k per week figure at Pompey, he must realise he is not quite the player he was three years ago and his wages should reflect that.

All done and dusted, he signed today. What a waste of a talent. He will be remembered for betraying Spurs, going AWOL on Arsenal and ended up washed ashore at Portsmouth (see what I did there?) I'll remember him as the one who was always having goals disallowed whenever it was an important England match
