WEVE LOST PISTONE SO IT MAY LOOK LIKE WE HAVE 11 PLAYERS ON THE PARK NOW!!

On the plus point we are defending well and i think we may be a different team this half hopefully

Oh and the referee may decide that both Ferguson and Davies recieve the same treatment!!

Waiting for a washing machine to be delivered so have to listen to it on peasant radio ( ) rather than being in the pub so gonna crack open a nice cold can of carling now to make up for it .

Sandro has gone off on a stretcher so with any hope DM will be looking for a solid left back as Naysmith will also be missing for some time and Sandro is just utter 5hite .

We're under the cosh as the 2nd half kicks off and things are nay looking too well .

Well now that ive stopped smiling, lets have a look at Wednesday, who the hell is going to play upfront for us???? I think that Neville will play at left back (he looked better than Pistone there anyway) but will Vaughan be given the chance to shine on Wednesday???

May be worth a shot as they will know nothing at all about him!!! Well at least were off and running in a game everyone thought we'd get beaten COME ON

fergie up front with cahill feeding of all the balls that fergie will win in the air reckon we should win by 2 or 3 on wednesday

Quite a poor performance really by us but we defended well and got a goal which is all you need to do against teams like Bolton when playing away. Thought Joey looked good won most headers and his tackling was excellent. Osman played well brought a bit of energy to the team however TC didn't look like his normal self not sure whether he took a knock in the game or not.

Referee was terrible some of the decisions he made were really poor especially one against a perfect tackle by Arteta which gave Bolton a free kick just outside the area. Neville played well again too and did alright at left back. Hope the players aren't to badly bruised after the game and we can actually field a side against Villareal got half the team injured at the moment.

mcfadden blew his chance, played poorly and when he should have been dribbling his way down to the corner posts or hoofing it as far as possible he was giving it away all the fekin time!

osman did well when he came on.

anyone that watched sky...(sorry to leave you out willo) the bloke on sky seemed to have the opinion that we were playing 4-3-3! with ferguson, bent and kilbane up front! where do they get these guys from?!?! maybe 4-4-2 you could say with bent pushing up front but never killa!

not as bad as everyone made out really, we didn't play great but we defended against Bolton's boring long high ball into the box brilliantly all day. they never looked like scoring until the final couple of minutes and we took our chance to score when it came.

we only had 2 shots on goal but scored. bolton had 15 (possibly more) and we only let them get 2 on target. that wasn't bad play on their part, that was us just doing enough from those crosses even when they won the header.

lets just hope were not the team that has to soak up the pressure like that on wednesday.

after the goal however we could have scored more and especialy bent started making some good runs on to some good passes from osman, cahill and arteta. ashame he's both isolated and that he doesn't quite have that magic touch to finish something a little tough!

I only managed to catch the second half after Bent's goal. I saw a lot of pumping the ball up forward with hardly any passing or build up from the back to midfield. Was it like that the whole game? Seemed to me that if we keep playing like that, then we'll be doing a lot of chasing all the time, and over a season, fitness will tell.
