G'day and a few questions about living in liverpool

Just after the war, my Dad bought an old Ford van. He cut (DIY) windows in both sides and built a rear (and very uncomfortable) seat. We went from Liverpool to Anglesey every summer for several years in that van. I remember one year, on the return journey, a car passed us and the driver was honking his horn and waving his arms. Dad stopped, told me to get out and watch while he drove a few yards. The rear offside wheel was just about to fall off!

I like places with good pubs and decent food options.

5. Any other advice for living in Liverpool?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers mates!

City centre is the best for a good pub, some great hidden traditional pubs that have such an atmosphere. They're brilliant! Dale street by the town hall is great for pubs. Also there's always new food places opening on Bold street near liverpool central, the choice is unreal
