BedfordBlue Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Should Joseph Yobo complete the full 90 minutes of Sunday's final game of the campaign against Chelsea he will have matched an appearance record last achieved by Everton great Kevin Ratcliffe. Not since the 1987 title-winning season has one player played every second of every league game for the Blues. Well done Joseph. Not a great like Kevin Ratcliffe but getting there. Quote
Blue4Ever Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 This lad is quality, him and lescott will be a heck of a partnership in years to come, I hope he stays here because I reckon we will have a few offers on the table in the summer. Quote
KillaGTiR Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 i dont think he would leave he has only just sign up in jan or was it the summer for another 4 years! Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 I think he's been without doubt one of the stars of the season, going about his business without causing a fuss. Him and Lescott have been a revelation this season, the future looks pretty bright from the central defence point of view. Quote
TrueBlue Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Talk about jinxing a player before a game... Quote
Zed Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Wow, didnt know that. Thats some acheivement that its Well done joey and yes he did sign a new 4 year contract just before the start of this season Quote
Bill Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Carsley has also played in every game, but missed 18 mins i think going off injured in one of his games. Another unsung hero. Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Too true, he's another one that just goes about his business, mops up most things, and then scores the goals too . All credit to the pair of them!! Quote
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 I rekon moysesy should take him of in the last min of injury time just for a laf haha! not but on a serious note thats a great achivement and its not like he has just been there he has been in great form throughout im a huge yobo fan!! Zed Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 (edited) oo true, he's another one that just goes about his business, mops up most things, and then scores the goals too . All credit to the pair of them!! Bit like Osman too Edited May 8, 2007 by Zed Quote
aaron Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 well done joey! saw this "yobocop" pic and thought it was good... Quote
Louis Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 To be honest.. I thought he was going to leave in the summer, don't forget he snubbed Juve for us and when he signed the Kings Dock was still going ahead and things were looking great, Kings Dock fell apart and I felt that Yobo would not think we were big enough for him. In hindsight he made the right decision, he could be playing in Serie B this season! Quote
Rob W Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 seems yobocop has a bout of food poisoning and is doubtful for the game...what a shame that would be for the guy to get so close to the record...only to be undone by a dodgy kebab at the last hurdle! Quote
