Should Joseph Yobo complete the full 90 minutes of Sunday's final game of the campaign against Chelsea he will have matched an appearance record last achieved by Everton great Kevin Ratcliffe.

 

Not since the 1987 title-winning season has one player played every second of every league game for the Blues.

I think he's been without doubt one of the stars of the season, going about his business without causing a fuss. Him and Lescott have been a revelation this season, the future looks pretty bright from the central defence point of view.

Carsley has also played in every game, but missed 18 mins i think going off injured in one of his games. Another unsung hero.

saw this "yobocop" pic and thought it was good...

To be honest.. I thought he was going to leave in the summer, don't forget he snubbed Juve for us and when he signed the Kings Dock was still going ahead and things were looking great, Kings Dock fell apart and I felt that Yobo would not think we were big enough for him.

 

In hindsight he made the right decision, he could be playing in Serie B this season!

seems yobocop has a bout of food poisoning and is doubtful for the game...what a shame that would be for the guy to get so close to the record...only to be undone by a dodgy kebab at the last hurdle!
