ooberman
Blackburn agree to release Jansen Jansen keen to end Rovers stay Matt Jansen's career statistics Blackburn have agreed to release Matt Jansen after the striker became frustrated at a lack of first-team action for Mark Hughes' side. The 28-year-old has started only 13 Premiership matches since his recovery from a 2002 motorcycle accident. Chairman John Williams said: "Given Matt's contribution over the years we feel we should not stand in his way. "He needs a new challenge and on behalf of everyone connected with the club we wish him well." Jansen moved to Rovers from Crystal Palace for £4.1m in January 1999. He was tipped to win England honours until a road accident left him in a coma for four days. He recently revealed his desire to leave Ewood Park, saying: "This is the hardest - and yet probably the most sensible - decision I have ever made. "I am not a troublemaker and I do not kick up a stink if I am not in the team but enough is enough." Jansen has since been linked with a move to Championship club Preston. jared
Jansen's trial with Man City called off. So maybe we have a chance to give him a trial.
GoldfishMemory
The only way i would consider signing him is on a pay as u play deal hevily subsidised with scoring bonuses, let the little shit earn a proper contract. Saying that tho' we still need to buy a goal machine whatever we do!

RuffRob
Good - didn't want him at the club to be honest- not a player that would improve the squad based on his recent record. If he does well at Bolton - then well done Sam. Big risk though.
