Steve_E Posted January 5, 2012 Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 Last season was his first in the first division and he did good. Accomodated to the higher level with ease. He mainly played as a left winger. This season he has been moved to the nr 10 position and he has struggled with injuries. So I'm guessing he's probably cheaper than he was in the summer. I'd prefer someone else though. BTW: another Belgian playing in Holland whom we were linked with in the summer, Dries Mertens, is doing incredible. He has got 13 goals and 11 assists in 17 league games for PSV. So he's second in the goal scorer table and leading the assist table. 16 goals and 16 assists in all competitions. It's a shame we didn't get him He's probably out of our price range now though. There's a couple of other players in Holland that are interesting though. Strikers John Guidetti and Bas Dost and right winger Luciano Narsingh would all improve us. If we really are scouting in Holland, I'm guessing our scouts will see that too.
