He doesn't have that luxury anymore, I'd offer Gibson style money for him. A no is what you have, a yes is what you can get. I repeat, he could easily be superb for EFC, give him some credit. I have the luxury of being a general EPL fan instead os purely an EFC fan, so I look at these things from a completely different point of view. LFC is simply the wrong team for him.

next time think about what you are suggesting before you type it...
anymore of that and you're off son!!!
You guys still haven't made any sense. I thought thouroughly about it and I've seen him play a few times for Lille last season and honestly, I think he'd be great for EFC. Now your turn.
-
and now rational arguments please
-
who wants to take this one?
oh shit.
-
Why don't we sign Joe Cole? He'd fit in much much better here than at LFC. I think Everton is just what he needs and Everton don't really have a real attacking midfielder other than Pienaar as far as I'm aware.
-
he's only summat like 18 though isn't he?
19 i think, something like that, but so is Lukaku...
-
does seem surprising..unless they sign another striker they only have him and torres don't they?
And Piazon... But they miss out on Hulk, so i really really hope the bring in Falcao, then they'll probably win the league

Mail saying liverpool wants to loan Sturridge for the season
Fulham wants to keep up with the Belgian invation and have offered 6 mil for Odjidja-Ofoe
FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU Not Vadis!!
I was wondering why he didn't play yesterday, i was in the stadium doubting if he was ill or busy with a transfer

Everton probably found an Indian billionaire investor like of the kind they were looking for

Kev: 2 goals and 2 assists, constantly dangerous, hit the bar too

mirallas shot against the bar

I told you all to rely on Mirallas to be good

To my surprise, there's a huge difference in mentality between the fans of different clubs. I won't call myself a true Toffee fan, but I stuck around since the athmosphere is good here.
I'm not going to sign up for rival sites again on the basis of a matchday fixture. Did this last with Newcastle on the last day, did a really good articulate and comprehensive article and then was told 'can't post, due to spamming' (or something of that nature). I registered with an Everton themed name and they must have automatically thought I was up to no good. I won't mention the site in name, but I was disappointed with their approach.
Also, Tamworth in the FA cup this year, after our win, a few Toffees, including myself, had registered on one of their main boards (probably the only one), and went about our business quitely and with good intent, tried some good natured discussion, and a few Idiots on their page started getting all snappy and belligerent. Fuck that, I thought, and left them to it. I realize not all club pages are like this, but I feel I just had enough of it just recently. It's home pages for me only now.

This topic screams for this

Liverpool will be relegated.

Listen, I'm also active on a forum of my local club and it is full of mentally challenged people. That's not an issue in itself, but sadly enought this forum offers several facepalm and bang-hammer-on-head smileys. That way, 80% of the comments are "omg you're so stupid"- comments.
I really enjoy my time on ToffeeTalk, cause here you can have a sensible debate with people who know how to discuss properly. I wouldn't want this to be ruined by constant interruption with rude sarcasm comments.
Or are you just talking about simple, respectful random sarcastic comments such as "Vellios isn't exactly Messi, but yada yada..."

Were my answers of any help, Liam?

Naah, but swans are just doing really well, did good transfers and are tactically strong. I think they'll win the games they're supposed to win against the smaller teams, whereas that might be a bit of a tougher issue for EFC.

Hi everyone,
I made this thread so we can share our predictions on what the final premier league standings will probably be this season
Here's my guess:
1. Manchester United
2. Chelsea FC
3. Manchester City
4. Liverpool FC
5. Newcastle United
6. Arsenal
7. Tottenham Hotspur
8. Swansea FC
9. Everton FC
10. Sunderland AFC
11. Fulham FC
12. West Bromwich Albion
13. Reading
14. Stoke City
15. Aston Villa
16. Southampton
17. QPR
18. Wigan Athletic
19. West Ham United
20. Norwich City
But everything below West Brom is vague to me.

There are still some teenage Belgian talents in the making, for instance Dennis Praet (Anderlecht), Charly Musonda (Chelsea) and Siebe Schrijvers (Genk). The latter one debuted in the first team at 15y of age with a hattrick. Musonda is perceived as a next Eden Hazard, and imo that isn't even necessarily exaggerated, I just hope Chelsea don't ruin him.

1. What were your thoughts on your season last year?
Poor start, strong finish. Why the deuce did Everton let Yakubu Aiyigbeni go.
2. What were your thoughts on our season last year?
It appears you did well for your class.
3. What are your thoughts on our appointment of Steve Clarke as head coach?
I don't know him, but his name is Steve, which is always funny.
4. What are you expecting from Everton this season?
I'm expecting a strong start, then there might be some pressure on the EFC players, making the middle of the season a bit moderate and then the end might be alright again.
5. What are you expecting from WBA this season?
Strong, attractive physical football with an emphasis on the forwards.
6. Favourite memories against WBA?
Everton- WBA is a slightly unattractive fixture, so I have no memories on these games at all.
7. Worst memories against WBA?
Same thing here.
8. Team you expect David Moyes to put out?
A Football team
edit: he usually uses similar line-ups over and over again.
9. Player you fear the most in our side?
Lukaku definitely.
10. Score predictions
WBA is one of those teams that can make any opponent shake. I like the football that I've seen in the first WBA games this season. I think if Steve (lol) choses to regularly let Lukaku start, it'll have a major positive impact, cause he doesn't only score, he also knows how to let defenders bite the dust like no one else and give assists that way just as easily as scoring goals. He puts so much pressure on defences and it's all a one man show really, the others have to make sure they run in the box.
That makes stuff unpredictable. WBA could defeat the Manchesters this season, but they could dissappoint too... imo it'll come down to strategic decisions of the manager, cause tactically he's looking pretty good to me.

Might there not be a correlation between the players playing for us and the way we play?
-
Mirallas said that he'll score next time.

I didn't say any of that, I'm just saying I don't get all emotional about it, I think differently.
