Playing a back 3 against a much stronger side than yourself is looking for trouble - they will hit us early then.

Forget a new striker - buy the 5th or 6th best nr 10 in La Liga to get our midfield going!!!

I still believe we need a proper nr 10 to take control of the midfield and link the wings with the striker. Our interplay and creativity in the last 3rd is championship standard. We chop and change far too much in defensive formations and combinations to get a solid defensive system going.

Under pressure Barkley must still convince me on a regular basis as a creative attacking midfielder - he simply does not look like a player with lots of time to execute (the sign of a great player). i think he should play deeper than nr 10 and seriously brush up his defense or try to become a great nr 10 at another club. He won't be soon playing nr 10 for England again, i think. By the way , who is our spare nr10?
