We need a proper left back so we can play an attacking left wing like Mirallas. Bring Deulrfeu on for Barkley in middle. Balance of this side is not right.

Poor defense - Baines is a defensive liability as a defender

When last have we had a more than just a stand-in nr 10 playmaker ? Get us one in January from a Spain or Brazil - the guys who know how to attack through the middle and you won't believe the change he will make in the whole team.

Southampton is a much better organized team than we are at the moment. At home they are a tough nut to crack. We need to pull up our socks right up to our nuts if we want to get something out of this one. I see a draw at best.

If you look at what WBA did to Burnley last night Everton was unacceptably poor against the bottom feeder of the Premier Leauge at home. That follows the poorest show we have put up in recent years against Chelsea - not a single shot on target - again!. The balance in the team is not right and we play a slow stop/start game with nothing happening in the midfield to break other teams down. We need someone to do what Chadli has done for WBA. in the central midfield. We need a playmaker nr10 and a tall,strong and fast left back who can defend so Mirallas can focus on attack.We do not have enough interplay between our front 4 to create opportunities for Lukaku.We give the ball away far too easily in the final 3rd. Deulefeu and Mirallas must play to take our corners because Baines and Barkley are not good enough in that department. We need goals from more players than just Lukaku. I do not mind losing or drawing , BUT how we do it at the moment is just not good enough. We need improvement or we need change, because we are drifting nowhere at the moment.

We will never fire before we get a proper playmaker at nr 10 working his arse off linking with wingers and striker, instead of the one we have - drifting around just wanting to score goals instead of making them. Distribution and positional play in middle is sub standard. Play Deulefeu in middle, Mirallas on left and Bolasie on right. Barkley as a spare striker.

He needs to get more minutes on left wing with a proper nr 10 playmaker playing in the midfield - not a wannabe striker like Barkley.

The players need a serious talking to.They are clearly on a go slow strike against Martinez. But why must the fans who pays to see them perform suffer as a result of their issues with the manager. As a consumer (fan) i feel cheated. The beer company cannot sell you half a bottle of beer at the same price if management and staff have issues. Lukaku has not scored a single goal in 8 games, Barkley 0 goals in 13 games etc. If they want to play like that they should be paid accordingly.Players also has a responsibility towards the club and the fans not only towards the manager.

Martinez is a nice guy with a few fatal flaws: 1)Bad player management and team selection - treatment he gave Mirallas and Deulefeu was shocking 2)No clue with substitutions - too late and senseless - Osman is prime example 3)Ignoring the importance of defense - should be first priority for any mid table or lower team 4)Preocupation with silverware while neglecting league position Sorry - time is up Roberto. I hope you have learnt a few lessons at Everton.

The Martinez / Mirallas affair that went sour spoilt the broth for Everton. In my opinion Martinez made the same mistake as Mourinho made with Costa - lesson: never treat a naughty professional footballer like a naughty child - they probably earn more than you do.

Osman at nr 10 was a disaster - no service to wings - should have been taken off at half time. Martinez did not really want to chase the game or he was just stupid keeping Osman on the pitch for as long as he did.

Moyes back - no please we have had enough of that - if he could not do it at big clubs he has no chance with a mid table team. Martinez made his own bed by managing key players badly and showing no clue with his few late substitutions - some neglected players have turned against him and that affects the team spirit. It was obvious in the Arsenal game that the team was on a go slow strike. He better start playing his best team and replace the lazy and ineffective players during matches with early substitutions if things are not working. If he has lost the senior players he will go the Mourinho way - sad to say. But the players have also not really pulled their weight most of the time. We have an under performing manager AND squad.

Nobody - that was pure championship mid table quality from Everton

But we had a game in hand which we have just handed Arsenal

When Martinez is in a cup run he loses focus of everything else including the PL

We are now officially below WBA - the most negative side in the PL - that on its own tells a story

Desperately chasing a game but sparing a sub - why Martinez why?????

The moment Del came on we started attacking from the left which we have not done the whole gama

Bring Del on and then ignore him - great strategy
