Mirallas where have you been all season ?

because Baines is a huge defensive risk - and things have gone much better defensively since Baines and Stones have been dropped Del and Mirallas are a much much bigger goal threat and creative pairing than Lennon and Cleverly - look at their stats over the last 4 seasons - clear for all to see

It looks like Deulofeu is Martinez's new Mirallas - another player of quality going to waste - Our most creative player has now become our newest best bench warmer - taking over from Mirallas who now gets the odd look-in lately - Lennon has been good but what has Mirallas done wrong? or is it another case of bad attitude for the lack of a better reason - or talking to the press - naughty boy - We will lose both Mirallas and Deulefeu in the summer if Martinez keep wasting their obvious talent on the bench - Cleverly and Lennon would not have been preferred had they not been English - my opinion

I have to compliment Hafnia on reading the mind of the powers that be. I believe they are playing games with us to try and keep most people happy most of the time. You can fool most people most of the time but you can never fool all people all the time. Bournemouth will have to play very well or us very poorly for them to win - that is my prediction. Atkinson might as well retire if he screws us again today - his reputation is at stake - painted himself into a corner My wish is that we outplay them and beat them fairly and squarely without any assistance from any official

The pressure on Martinez to start using Mirallas properly is building as our season keeps on faltering - i really hope Mirallas gets enough playtime to prove Matinez wrong before he is eventually sold - The less he plays the less we will get for him.Why would a top club pay big bucks if he is not good enough to make a mediocre Everton side - they would argue. We call on old Martinez to play us Mirallas !!!!!!

The real question is whether we have a great squad or whether we have a young squad with great potential. I think we have more potential than ability at this stage.We should maybe lower our expectations accordingly and take a lot of pressure from the team, Martinez and ourselves. We should not label young players like Barkley and Stones as world beaters worth 50mil while they are still developing.Whether they will is open foe debate and only time will tell. We can have nothing more than opinions at this stage. If this squad has fully developed without a corresponding climb on the table the winds of change should start to blow. If we have a great squad then we have a serious problem like Chelsea had - because we have both just won 8 games.

Chaps some say we have a great squad , we have no problem scoring goals , we have 3 England defenders and Coalman ,we have Barkley "the best English attacking midfielder, but ....... we have only won 8 games - yes 8 - the same number as WBA , 1 less than Crystal Palace and 1 more than Bournemouth - and we say we have the best squad in years ? We are either playing extremely badly or we are not as good as we think

Why do you give a" useless bencher" like Mirallas such a long contract then ? Sell the poor guy and buy someone "good enough to make the starting line-up". Give me one reason why you refuse to play your second best goal scorer when you are 1-0 down at home against a parked buss but you send up "dangerman" uncle Osman? i will protest in the interest of Everton until Martinez really gives Mirallas ,or any other neglected good player for that matter , a fair deal If you are desperate for a win at home like we are and you are 1-0 behind against a poor team, you throw the kitchen zinc at the opposition - not a white towel like uncle Osman

Martinez is still playing mind games with Mirallas and Everton is paying the price - The Mirallas situation specifically and his substitutions in general is turning me against Martinez

Lads , we NEED A PROPER NR 10 !!! Barkley just does not do it in that position - he creates far too little for other players - play him on the left wing , or deeper but not in the engine room - Why we did not play our two most dangerous runners with the ball Deulefeu and Mirallas against 4 centre backs is beyond me - Why Osman is used as a match winner is beyond my whole family . We simply have too few players capable of scoring regularly - but Martinez still plays Osman ahead of Mirallas

We looked organized today and scored a great win but we are still not firing on all cylinders - but we are improving - to me that is all that matters - i still miss my 2 favorite players Deulefeu and Mirallas though

Would also have liked to see more of Deulefeu and certainly not Osman

Will Martinez get any credit for this Everton performance? i hope so - he did a few things right today

hats off to Everton who keeps on attacking - just a pity we can't get it into the net more - still feel Barkley wants to score more than he wants to create - but he is showing certain skills again
