i think for the goals he scores (and he does score goals, more than most in the prem) the price of 12.5m is not over priced. i believe drogba is was the best forward in europe last year and i believe RVN to be the best in the box player ive seen in my 23 years. but Yakubu would bring goals to the team, he maybe lazy, but so was RVN. i dont want to talk about what class players are in, you should also take into account the players supporting the forward, beckham, giggs, scholes, lampard, robben, joe cole, who has been supplying Yakubu at pompy and boro?

im with you mark, Yak is a quality player. people say hes lazy, but if hes in the box and we give him the ball, chances are he'll score. can be lazy as he wants if he scores!

Ruud Van and Drogba have scored more goals than Yak and along with Rooney are light years ahead of him in class and attitude so that only leaves Sheva and I think eveyone realises he has been a massive flop

its got nothing to do with having a season ticket, its loyalty.

if you want to start going to away games then get to the less popular ones, newcastle, sunderland, boro, lague cup games, any you can get your hands on. then nexct season you'll have maybe 5 away stubs, then that should get you into the second phase of ticket sales (first is normally 8, second 4, third 2) then the season after you will have maybe 10 stubbs. then you get to pretty much any away game you like.

the same will apply for europe.

after next season instead of actually saving your stubs you will have a client history of all the games you've been to, home, away, season ticket, cup. will not be easier, but will be more efficient/effective.

if hes been warned enough times bout this then they could cancel his contract under misconduct. if the right channels and procedures have been followed. fuck him off!

as of next season you wont need away stubs, all will be logged on the system under your client number.

the stubs system is fair and has worked for decades. some fellas havent missed an away game for years, it wouldnt be fair if you got a ticket for a "better" away game because you own a season ticket. ive had a season ticket for 5 years now, and i find the best way to get an away ticket is to buy a share in everton.

I think signing players on at such a young age is slightly mad. I mean its gonna be around another 9 years before he would be able to do anythin for us so whats the rush ??

Yak only seems to play when he is in the mood and for £11M I want a forward who turns it on in every game. Having said that we are desperate because I dont think Big Vic is ready to play week in week out and we wouldnt be the first club to spend overthe odds this summer

its not over the odds, hes a forward who scores goals. players who score less goals will have gone for more money!
