journalism, probably just made up or guessed. wouldnt worry about it too much myself
-
all the best laa
-
is that the one with the full orchestra?
only seen snippets, aparently its musical genius
-
doubt cahill will be, fingers crossed for arteta thou
-
On his day Osman can be quality, he hasnt been that good but credit to him at least he can score a few and is decent running with the ball.
yes, running slowly thou.....very, very, very slow! <_<
-
same shit, different toilet!!!
-
Pick on someone your own size....he's only little (though I've no idea whatever what size you are StevO ).
i'm skinny, and about 6"2. about phills size actually (plus a beer belly!)
-
i voulenteer me to give him a kicking!
-
correct, chanting at neville isnt the way forward!
we need to get a large spear, shove it up his arse, out his mouth and cook him like a hog roast!
he might be a little skinny for that thou
-
i remember hibbo getting the arm band when stubbs/weir had been subbed a couple of times myself.
i'm gunna go on the champmanager database, look up all the midfielders and email the link to DM. see what he can come up with. theres a couple of decent yugoslavians
-
if we could get Appiah that would really make a difference. he is more than the quality we need!
i can live with hibbo at right back for a while longer if it meant spending the cash on the middle
-
where did i say i want neville or carsley to play?
i want jags in the midfield, i want cahill next to him, i want arteta out on the right and i want a wide player for the left side too.
look at the formation, theres 3 down the middle so a ball winner isnt needed.
then why put one in there?
every great team has one, they always have and they always will.
Real Madrid got mugged big time when they thought they got themselves a ball winner!
Jags can do that job fine!
if you want to play that formation (which is a formation i like by the way) we used manny as the wide left against watford last year and it worked. it is the formation i think we should use while we have no wingers, but id just use different players than you.
-------------Jags-------------
Grav------Cahill-----Arteta
or
--------------Jags-------------
Pienaar----Cahill-----Arteta
EDIT:
just a final note, before you keep bringing neville and carsley into it; read my post! no mention of neville or carsley, but your putting a ball winner in your side, for some reason you think i want it to be cars or nev, thou ive posted many times how impressive jags is in the midfireld! and the harm in having grav on his own in the middle comes from the many times that we all saw him leave massive space in the middle due to his headless chicken attacking style. (note; grav is an attacking player, and an attacking player only!)
-
well only 4days till we find out!
-
surely there must be a left winger we could find somewhere?
and if we can see it why cant moyes?
-
so when we get this one class centre midfielder who will play on the left in one of the best teams in england? as most teams have at least one left footed player in their midfield (balance i believe)
whos gunna win us the ball in your midfield? tommy
cahill on the left wing (be right back, im just wiping up the mess after i just pissed my pants!)
if thats your formation of choice surely cahill would be central and bring in a lefty. jags wasted at RB while tommy is throwing in tackles he cant make

I'd pick Yakubu every time. I don't rate Anichebe in the slightest, in fact I'd rather play Hibbo upfront ahead of him.
Now if you were to do it between Yak and Vaughan, that would be a much tougher choice and something I'd have to give some thought to.
now i dont rate victor at all myself, but bringing hibbo into the mix just put salt in the wounds!
but on the case of yak being lazy, we knew this before we signed him. running his arse off for the team is not his game at all. hes a goal hanger, a poacher, what ever you want to call it. let the lad hang around near the box, give him the service that suits him best and he will get goals and set up others around him. thats the way hes scored so many goals in the last four years.

Not saying they are world beaters Bill, but they are doing a good job at the level they are at.
-
just watched the highlight on evertontv. im sure they are probably edited biased (if possible) but it looked like we played good football.
credit to martin o'neill. hes built a squad full of pace, the speed they break with is imense!
agbonlahors goal was quality, great touch, pace and composed finish. carew got the luck of the ball in the box, it happens.
i just hope we can get a confidence boosting win on wednesday

Thanks for that StevO....think I'll pass for the mo . Fortunately I took your advice and sat down before looking at the price....my wife may stop laughing one day soon .
you'd be suprisd how often i have to tell people to sit down.
the best part of the job is when young lads come in with their little fit birds wanting to buy fancy toys for their motors, then i gladly let them know they cant afford what there after. que disappointment and fast being dumped coz they cant put their birds shane ward cd on coz the fancy electrics make the cd player stupid prices.

update - lazy fat robbie scored two on saturday and jfh ran the defenders ragged! preston scored a last minute equaliser with the most inventive free kick ever
-
i think aj would step up again. im just hoping for him he can get a goal to help put the other nite behind him.
its gunna be a tough one
-
i went out last nite, only to a little pub. work is difficult this morning!
last nite i discovered i can drink jack daniels
this morning im discovering i cant drink jack daniels
i am an idiot
-
i just think hes not 100% fit yet
-
if the match goes to pens we should have AJ, Yak, Arteta and Baines. all recognised panalty takers.

im happy for him to play his usual lazy game, if we give him the service and he scores the goals.
