  1. i was all for the move, but now i want to see plans and financial situations before i make up my mind. if it will be cutting edge design then i'd maybe get swayed, but the club needs to not get fucked over in any deal.

one thing is for sure, we need to keep the gwladys street together. make it known the stand to the left of the dug out will be for the noise!

  2. for one im defending umbro because they have supplied us for the majority of our existance, secondly, they have consistently made good quality kits, thirdly, we have a good working relationship with them due to reason one. and lets talk about chelsea, they bought out the contract with umbro for millions because they ended the contract early.

but i guess if we have a more fashionable kit manufacturer we will sign better players and be more successful

edit: it cost chelsea £24.5m, lets do the same shall we!

  3. No, I always hate the collars on umbro kits the irritate my neck, well last seasons one. There kits always look the same like the england ones, and yes id rather have a more fashionable make, im sure Everton would get more from Nike/Adidas than what they do for umbro ones.

can i ask your logic behind this? and what you mean by get more?

umbros kits all look the same, nikes kits all look the same, adidas kits all look the same.

they just change the colours, its all about cost cutting and profitability mate, but if you think its just umbro your very mistaken

  4. Sure some South American players have had a hard time in the premiership but there are others who have done very well. I wouldn't not take a player because he was from South America. To say all south american players will have problems in the premiership is unfair. It comes down to the individual. I assume you were refering to me when I said I wanted Guardado. If teams such as ManUtd and Arsenal are interested in him for a couple of million pounds, I don't understand why we shouldn't be either.

    im with you joe.

Guardado is a quality player, even if we got him now and only played him for a few years and sold him, id be happy with that.

but he could become a great, if we dont go in for him, a bigger club will

  5. Yer I do agree with what your saying but where would u have Neville in the team next season if were going 4-4-2?

would you play Neville over Cars? or do u like the negative side Play 4-5-1 and play both?

451 for me, but ideally only one of cars or neville. as great a job cars does, id be happy for neville to play there.

but why do you call 451 negative?

it gives cahill the freedom to attack, and him and AJ are our 2best attacking players. 451 suits us, but we use it as a 442 as far as i'm concerned.

  6. I still cant believe with all the speculation that the redevelopment studies havent had more of an airing because I'v seen one that outlines a 55k capacity in the current footprint utilising it majority of the main stand as it and also another which shows what we can do if we relocate the school which surly if we paid for the council could find some landfor us to re-build it!!

ive sen the Goodison for ever-ton plan for a 55k capacity at GP, looked impressive.

the one for relocating the school came about from Peter Johnson, he wantee to move the school near the mega store, turn the ground 90 degrees. i know a lot of people dont like what he did at the club, but his ideas for the stadium were superb. the 90degree one was somethin special!

  7. When have we missed him, you could say that for carlsey more than Neville we play alot better when he isnt in our midfield we hit long balls alot less anyway, he is good at winning the ball ill give him that but if he plays centermid next season were not going to get far in Europe, he adds barley nothing to our team going forward, he does is give us 1 more player back against a good team but one less going up and getting assists and goals. Carsley can do that why have Neville as well its one or another for me and Id pick Carsley

    so naive!

its all about attacking, and getting forwards, goals, assists, all the lovely stuff about the game!

football is a team game, neville is a team player, an organisor and an important part of our team unit, both on the field and off it. we are known for our team spirit, and it is known neville is a big part of that. keeping the lads organised on the pitch, and keeping them all friendly off it.

it takes more than the flaire of arteta and manny for us to win games.

take a look at the majority of our team, and most of our likely transfer targets.

hibbert, stubbs, yobo, lescott, neville, carsley, cahill, AJ, jags, nugent, baines, i could go on.

players who will always give their most for the team.

to quote Goal "the name on the front of the shirt is much more important than the name on the back"

  8. I dont like Umpro kits, they always look poorly made, Adidas + Nike kits are always top material and look great, Chelsea's away kit last season was imo the best looking kit in black.

please give details of how they look poorly made.

ive been more than happy with the manufactured quality of all my umbro shirts.

or are you just talking this shit because nike and adidas are more fashionable
