Chris Eagles? just heard him mentioned on the radio with regards to a move to us
-
Felly's new dog
that tickled me
-
not sure how true it is, but on f365 forums they're saying apparently the "reliable source" it broke from had his account hacked....so it sounds like it was complete tosh
-
yeah having had a scout about, the more i read it sounds like it's probably bollocks....which is a relief!!
-
not sure, but i think my mate read it on the f365 forum...
some bloke posted this earlier, which sounds like it's probably bollocks
"Source at Finch Farm says 12million fee agreeed. He doesnt want to go and hasnt agreed personal terms.
It will officially be 'undisclosed'.
This coming from a man who gets the team from finch farm the night before the match and his info is 100% reliable.
As an Everton fan, Im f**king fuming."
-
not in anyway reliable, but the wikipedia page has been updated fast!
-
i've just heard this from someone who has no ties with either city or us...so i'm guessing he's seen it on a news wire somewhere

Despite being the grand age of 30 I went to my first Merseyside derby yesterday after travelling up from wet and rainy Essex.
My mate (a red) managed to get a pair of tickets with acess to the Red's lounge. At £80 this was a complete rip offf but I digress....
So we managed to find a car park close to Analfield and walked up. We stopped at the club shop first which I have to say was complete torture. Teaming with kopite's and memborilia it was just the most painful thing. There were some proper scallies in there and I would loved to have taken a torch to the smug little hole!
We had seats right next to the pitch though which was interesting as I've not seen a game played so up and close before. It was good despite having been surrounded by A LOT of red! Having to be very quiet when we scored was painful...
There were a few blues dotted around in the crowd where we sat. One by one they got fingered by the kopites and got thrown out (and got a few slaps on the way out too).
Although I have been on this forum for ages I never understod the Norwegian jokes. I understand now There were loads of Scandanavians in the bar! Loads of them!
A few random thoughts from the experience and game....
Baines is tiny! Good little player but was beaten in the air everytime
Castillo is a waste of time
Phil Neville got pulled up unfairly for everything he did
Jags and Lescott were awesome (in fact I would say our defense is worthy of a top 3 side). I thought it was a more impressive outfit than Liverpool's.
As much as it pains to me say, Gerrard was very good indeed. He was easily the best player on the pitch.
The players get very little time on the ball
The Liverpool left back was shite. Arteta would have turned him inside out.
Anichebe, Osman, Castillo aren't bad players but they were out of their depth at this level
Pienaar is very skillful when you see him play up close (which I hadn't appreciated before)
Gosling looked OK bt isn't going to be a world beater
Without Gerrard Liverpool are nothing. Total one man team.
Kopites are gobshites.
whereabouts in essex are you from jofanon? i thought i was the only blue here! i'm in loughton (originally upminster)
-
we should just come out and say - if you want him, we want £40m or something stupid. if city are prepared to pay it with their zillions of quids then bite their hands off, if they have any sense and they're not prepared to pay it then fook off! same with arteta...
-
off-topic, but we've got some bloody weird names there
-
i presume it's cos the tv games haven't been announced but it says on bbc it's saturday 3 o'clock!

any news on if the unpronouncable is starting? i always thought it was probably joot-ka-vich for what it's worth!
-
haha, i love the way they use the word "poised".........4 years time isn't "poised"!!!
-
i thought we missed Fellaini today, which is reassuring that he's been an important signing for us i guess. home to boro next isn't it? hopefully we can pick up another 3 points, with a more assured performance
-
and you lot where doubtin!
we'll never know if it was my positivity or everyone else's negativity, but fuck it eh, we got 3 more points! and hull lost, 3 points behind manyoo now!
-
saha again! 3-1!
-
2-1!
-
get in joleon
-
jeez, chill out....course you have the right to moan. you have the right to say what you like, it's just i've come on here every day for the last few years and I can barely remember a positive thing you've said! i'm a big believer anyway that if you're nicking points when you're playing badly, you're going in the right direction. agree to disagree eh?
-
I'm sorry, I didn't realise I was in charge of a football side and picking a negative side week in week out. It must be that early onset of alzheimer's. Shit.
quite right, moyesey is, and he's got a darn sight more experience and success managing a footie team than any of us! so get behind them, rather than assuming we've lost before the match even kicks off!
last time victor started on the wing, he was arguably our man of the match.
-
Since when has Moyes given a crap when any other player has played well before? It certainly hasn't effected his team selections this season, otherwise we'd have a very different starting line-up.
We have absolutely nothing going forward today. Moyes is far too fucking negative and it's going to cost us. If you don't attack then you can't score, but when you attack you can always still defensive. A load of shite. Moyes said he wanted us to make 3 wins in a row, but he hasn't done anything to suggest he wants a win today.
pot kettle black springs to mind! come on, get behind the boys. battling though this first half, maybe nick one in the second, would settle for that!

Upson off injured. I'd fancy our chances of scoring without him organising their backline...

I Wonder Who ?
in Rumourama - Everton Transfer Rumours
Posted · Edited by ooberman
yeah especially as the FA will look at each transfer on a case-by-case basis for going through after 5 o'clock.....i'm still hopeful there'll be another
re. the Eagles rumour, some fella on 606 reckoned it was a swap deal for VDM......imagine that! probably bollocks though
