Very few appear to be doubting Robles these days. Another vote from me.
McCarthy and Besic playing together are going to be the rock of this team.
-
There were four winners this week: Well done to Deacs, MikeO, mogsy, and Peter H. Each scored the extra point for a prediction better than the average. Romey still leads for the season and for average points per game.

Not sure why anyone would be satisfied with just a point. We got that at Anfield. I would expect three points at Goodison. I expect six or seven goals in this one.
(Just watch it be a 0-0 draw now I've said all that!)
Called it!

I'm really hoping for both Besic and McCarthy to start, with Barkley in front of them.

I've never understood that whole second half of the season comment from Martinez. You don't sign players on loan for them to grow into it (that's what you do with a permanent signing), you sign them for impact!
I thought he was loan with buy option. That would explain it. Plus, the style they play in Africa is very different.

Arsenal all the way. And an all London final.

me 2, may aswell have some type of design with remaining hair i have left.
My hair somewhat resembles skid marks in the snow. Does that mean I'm trendy?

Hamstring injury for Gerrard so he doesn't get to be Mr hero on Saturday and stops the commentator doing my nut in.
I wonder if sturridge holds up....
Deliberate. He saw the writing on the wall and wants to claim his last derby game was a win.

The reasons why a school suspended this child three times are truly bizarre. One was for bringing an encyclopedia to school - and the latest is for claiming he had a LOTR ring that could make his classmate disappear.
-
Mirallas, Januzaj, and Lukaku - the Belgian front line.
-
I would sell McCarthy simply because he is even more injury prone than Mirallas
McCarthy, who's hardly ever been out before with an injury, versus Mirallas who's out every season?
OK - so an entire debate took place since the comment to which I responded was made. Just a bit slow on the up-take!
Anyway, by 5-1, it's Mirallas gets the boot.

Joel is winning it 8-0. Quite a turn-around from a few weeks ago.
He's fucking shite. His distribution isquite good but he couldn't save a cat from drowning in a paddling pool.
We need a new keeper. He also thinks he is a lot better than he is.
City nevergotanything on target yesterday if they had it would have rained goals. He will never be our regular first choice keeper and he knows it too which I think is affecting his attitude and confidence. The sooner we can get Marshall in with Hennessey as cover the happier I will be. We need 'keepers like Southall and Mimms not Laurel and Hardy.

I'm one of very few who thought we'd win this game. Probably got put down as deluded....again!
There must be a lot of deluded folks around, then. 13 of 22 predicted an Everton win.
-
What a difference a game can make! Romey scores 10 points (correct score and first goalscorer) and now leads in all categories! Congratulations also to millwallforever for also scoring 10 points this week.
-
And now I've voted. Good job, Joel, for filling in very nicely for Howard. The confidence is getting there, and it shows.
-
BTW, one more vote for Joel and he's ahead of Howard for the year.
-
A win is a win is a win.
-
Bet they score.
Bet they don't.
-
Piss poor first half, it looks like they are still feeling the effects of the duty frees
Have we even had a shot on goal yet?
And you were one of the ones a few weeks ago claiming that a few scrappy wins would be just fine.

Come on Martinez, sign another McCarthy in January, inspire our other midfielders to win a game without James, do whatever it takes to stop us being dependant on the lad.
He did, and his name is Mo Besic. The two of them together will make an "incredible" partnership.

I have a solution to the problem. Apple have well over $100 billion stashed away in cash. I think they should just buy Greece - the world's first iCountry.
Man of the Match v Liverpool

The season totals are quite revealing. Putting aside those with single digits, Besic is at the top and Coleman at the bottom. I'm guessing that, at the start of the season, most would have predicted the complete opposite.
