  1. What does 'You should be going!' mean? Oops, was intended for fish. sorry. My bad.
  2. Exactly my point. However crap his tactics might be, he will get Newcastle up the league. He hasnt won anything yet with Bolton, so i dont know how he will perform in pressure games but as someone said a few posts back, he organizes defences well. BTW, has he released Bramble already? Owen should be pissed.
  3. I think he's a good catch for Newcastle. Their fans are crying cos 'he's never managed a big club before' Tarts.
  4. I'm sure Manchester 'fans' shied away and hid from the world after 'That night in Barcelona' ------ Didnt log on here expecting 'Good luck' wishes. But im not blaming you fellas. COME ON YOU REDS!!!
  5. Will pointing them out in bold or underline, not do?
  6. lol Or maybe its because we got Mascherano off a fair deal unlike West Ham who MAY have done something wrong tp get those two.
  7. Have a great day and a great year ahead
  8. It doesn't matter how good a player he is. Is he going to raise the spirits of the team with his signing or the other way round. That is the question. Bellamy, Pennant, bowyer and Woodgate all have a history. But its more to do with the people outside the club more than anything else. With Bellamy it was only one major scuffle with Souness but he wasnt the only one to blame. Barton IMO has had too many scuffles with people on the inside. Rafa thought that he could handle Pennant and Bellamy (and made it clear in no uncertain terms that they had the responsibility to look after themselves as this could possibly be their last chance to which they agreed). Does Barton actually have some remorse for what he did to the youth team player with the ciggarette butthead and O Dabo? Im not quite sure. If you had finished in the lower half of the table this season i would have agreed that this is a risk you might take but with you doing quite well in the league with good players in centre midfield, i wouldnt recommed him right now. But it all depends on how Moyes and Barton view the switch i guess. But im not quite sure how this will work out.
  9. Yeah. With two clubs Liverpool FC And Everton in it.
  10. So do i assume, that you stayed in your room all day and didn't gloat about the win when you guys beat us at Goodison? And likewise, will you not wear your everton shirt if you qualify for Europe this time? I kinda understand what your trying to say. But not every fan who wears the win on his head the next few days after a major triumph is a glory hunter. Fans spend years looking for such glory. Its moments like these that we cherish. Should be allowed to celebrate after such wins, shouldnt we? --------- Think we had a game plan going attacking Cech's right hand side everytime except for the kuyt goal. Alonso's penalty was quite firmly struck and maybe thats why Cech couldnt reach it in time. Reina's no little man himself, standing at 6 foot 2. Did well to reach down and wide on Robben's effort.
  11. Its a farce. Liverpool and Chelsea have the most clean sheets this season and the soundest of defences. 5 Mancs in the back 5?! What a farce. Carvalho has easily been the best centreback in England and Finnan, the right back. Essien has been a monster in midfield. Just his luck that he's had to play in defense since Jan. -----------------------James Finnan Carvalho Vidic/Carra Lescott/Shorey --------------------Essien---------------- Ronaldo---Arteta------Scholes---------Giggs --------------------Drogba--------------------

    Fulham

Actually enjoyed the game, yesterday. Should not let it happen too often. <_< Your counterattacks were very good, i thought. But your poorish performances in defensive set plays and your defense going to sleep a couple of times in the 2nd half could have lead to Fulham getting it back to 3-3. A better team might have captialised. A good performance nonetheless. Why is Arteta not in the Spanish side, i just do not know. Spains national side are just like England, bunch of overpaid prima donnas with a shit coach. Their coach is racist as well.
  13. Thanks a million, Dunny, Mac (You're just jealous! ), Tara, Jackelz, and Pat. Cant wait for next year! I'd be 21 and finally old enough to get some alchohol into my system!
  14. Thanks a lot, sirs! Looking forward to enjoying the day.
  15. OMG. Pakistan's coach Bob Woolmer expired half and hour back. This is just, sad. RIP
  16. Chelsea have definately got a bad draw. I agree with whoever has said that Valencia are the toughest team to play for anyone outside the English teams. Think Milan will go out against Bayern as well. We've got a good draw, couldnt have hoped for a better one. Maybe the law of averages works out at the end of the day. PSV after Barca. Should not be going out in this round especially after their best best defender, Alex is out for the season. Their striker Kone too, might be out for the first leg ..he's been linked with a 13 million euro deal with Villa. He's quick and looks like Cisse.
  17. A lot of the hatred has come after Heysel occured. British clubs got banned from Europe and everyone jumped on the 'everything occured because of Liverpool' bandwagon. You fellows had a fantastic team then, and had a good chance of some european glory. I can see where the hatred comes from. I post on an Evertonian forum because it gives me an insight on how the 'other' team works. I personally know of only one liverpool fan here(mumbai), no evertonians. Most of them either follow Manchester United or Chelski. Posting on messageboards gives me a good oppurtunity to learn about the game, because in all honesty football pundits on tv are wannabe guru's. They spout shite half the time. I also post in an Arsenal board and am a moderator there. Fish: My comment was no more tongue in cheek than what his was. Its not tough to get offensive in an internet messageboard, and if i wanted, i could easily have got into a slanging match. Still dont think it has disintegrated into one. I have a lot of respect for a few posters here and i think it works the other way round as well. Why speak crap when its not needed?
  18. If you do realise, i actually WAS putting forward my side of the argument when the thread was started by Mac. I WAS Arguing how getting Barca in the cup wasnt as bad as many seem to think it was. After two gruelling legs, i AM entitled to have my moment in glory as i was proved correct. For some reason, i get a snidey comment, what do you expect me to do? Apologise or something? 'Bitter' , '5Times' and 'small club' always seem to catch a nerve when put forward. If someone had wanted to talk about the game i clearly would have been interested in doing the same, still am. But i see no fucking reason to back down when approached by snidey comments. If you talk sense, ill try to do the same either. If i get shit, i throw it back on you. Have a nice day :graduated:
  19. Just some banter. Nothing personal.
  20. Ah the [ERROR 159: Lack of Vocabulary] can be smelled all the way here.
  21. HA HA FUCKING HA Told you i was not shitting myself at the draw.
