  1. Thank you, perfectly put!! We may be entitled to boo but in the long run it gets us no where.
  2. Good for us then, lets just hope "bush tucker timmy" aint reading this forum or his patriotism may buy him a plane ticket!!
  3. Correct! Boo the team all you want then, you pay your money and you have the rite to. Where you think its going to get you i dont know but you are correct you do have the rite to do whatever you want. If we had all booed at Wimbledon & Coventry would we still be in the top flight? I think not!!! Everton went missing along with the crowd in the second half last nite but the minute the boys got behind the team with 13 mins to go we gave a bit of a fight, it seems so clear to me that when we sing the boys play and when we dont they seem to go missing! Its sad but true.
  4. If you are going to boo your team at any stage you should stay at home put the kettle on! You may think you have a rite to vent your anger which may be correct but in how many other walks of life do you get the result you want by acting a cu*t? NONE! The team are not performing, their fault! They have no confidence, their fault! but when it gets to January and a booing crowd have knocked them all completely off balance and we are still in the relegation zone who's fault will that be? Its a simple formula, tried and tested all over the world in every sport imaginable Loud, strong & vocal support = Passionate performances Passionate performances = More positive results than negative! Stand, clap your hands, sing the songs and do it home & away week in week out, season after season whatever league your in! If we dont all stand together we will be relagated and what sort of excuse is "i have every rite to have my say"? so fucking what we are now playing championship football because a gang of dickheads want to kick the boys while they are down! Food for thought for all the boo boys. Kevin Campbell did NOT keep us in the premier league when we signed him!! The expectation and hope his goals gave made US all stand and sing our hearts out for two months and anyone who ever boo's at the match must understand it was the change of atmosphere inside Goodison that spured the team on not Super Kevin Campbell....... Nuff said!
  5. Focus on the league, we are difinatly sorting ourselves out albiet slowley but by the time the FA cup comes around we may be in a position to actually pose some kind of threat. The sad fact is that if we met Port Vale on a cold wednesday night at the moment we would be outfought and have our fragile confidence level completely destroyed! On the upside, we are starting to look better and i am very confident that things will begin to fall into place over the next few weeks. Andy Van looked lively and just wanted to whip in crosses or shoot every time he got the ball he looks like Kanchelskis the way he leans over the ball and trys to dig out a shot when he cuts inside! Looks like Charlton have well and truely taken our title of "unlikely challengers" for this season, they look unstoppable. Case of wrong Bent signed one quietly thinks to one's self..................
  6. Stay away from the bullens road stand if you actualy want to see the game, all the seats without posts in view are already season ticket holders! Personaly think the glad (lower) has the best atmosphere but stay infront of row z if you dont want any posts, be prepared to stand up for most of the game tho'. Seat number 105 is on line with the penalty spot so you can position yourself near the middle if you want.
  7. Someone was pissed when he took these piccys Ok i should have waited for them to open properly before i made the smart arse comment
  8. I got hammered on kipper for suggesting the ppl who never turned up to the villarreal game were not true blues (excusing all who live miles away, work in the evenings etc). My definition of a true blue has pretty much been outlined by you rowlo. Cold January mid week game at some tin pot second devision side when its snowing and your loosing but your still on your seat, hands in the air and singin the blues (win loose or draw) and still going back next week! Performances like Man U last season and Chelsea on Sunday make it all worth while and when the blue boys roar and the big man raises that clenched fist we all know why we are BLUE
  9. What actualy happened to tonliv? Did the dirty little RS get banned or are we going to have to listen to more sh*t? People like that have got nothing better to do, every post i have read today has some sort of comment from our freindly neighbourhood scumbag
  10. But don't all expect to see it against Boro tonight, we will not see the real VDM for at least a month - 6 weeks. Lets hope this Xmas all our kids will be clamering for Everton shirts with VDM on the back <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So basicaly he is gona come good just in time to stuff the shite and make our Christmas!!
  11. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/index.php?page_id=7878 Read the last 4 paragraphs, i love it when the players comment on our commitment
  12. Or Liverpool always win the league cup (micky mouse cup) and loose the FA cup (Englands premier cup compotition). Watch me have to eat some humble pie for calling the LC "micky mouse cup" when we win it this season
  13. I have seen nothing of the boy and am also very aware he may not cut it. i dont quite know why but when his name is mentioned i seem to think "he's good" without knowing much about him! Has he been in the news alot? or is there another Dutch superstar with a similar name? Anyway enough of me being soft. My prediction for VDM is that things will go one of two ways tonight, assuming he plays. He is either shitting himself and regreting signing due to our general mediocre level of football this season which could quite easily result in him going "missing". Or (and this is what i like to believe) he has genuine quality and has been bitten by the blue bug, i can see him steping on the pitch with a burning desire to pull us out the shit and play with all the skill he has as well as the commitment required to please the Goodison faithful. In short he will come good and for the first time since Limpar & Kanchelskis Everton may well have found a good winger. With the added bonus of Arteta playing a blinding role out wide we could finaly have what we have been looking for, service for the front men! Freeing up the center mid to poach on the edge of the box, shoot, shoot, shoot! Thats all provided VDM can drag that wide arse of his up and down the wing, i aint seen a footballer with such a big rear since rhino
  14. Join the club, mine went 'missing' too Fantastic performance Sunday tho'
  15. Dont say that, its gona be fookin freezing tonite you mite put off all the part timers!
  16. Thats little Leon relegated to the reserves
  17. Yobo, Koldrup & Farrari all fighting for those two centre back spots. All we need now is to bring Valente up to speed and stop Hibbo from shitting his pants every time he crosses the half way line
  18. No to Burly and anyone else i'm with the red head
  19. BT, VDM & Koldrup must play, we need them fit for the league. I would start with all three and let them decide when they need to come off hopefully BT and Koldrup will last the 90. I would leave martyn in goal as Koldrup and Farrari at the back may weaken us slightly and an inexperienced keeper would magnify that. Fookin hate Boro' anyone remember this comp a few years back when we played up there and Duncan scored that goal against Swatzer (spelling???) where the ball was dropping and duncan just charged at him? S sh*t himself and big dunc side footed in from by the penalty spot.
