  1. Whether Moyes like its or not there is going to be heavy analysis of how the United team plays against us. Should they get turned over heavily then Monday morning won't make pleasant reading for the United hierarchy.

  2. All I can say is that I'm glad I wasn't able to watch it live because I'd have been a lot angrier. Goes back to what Martinez says about small margins.

Unfortunately it seems when he gets it right, he gets it very right. When he gets it wrong, he gets it very wrong. Doesn't detract from how good a season we've had overall but it's very disappointing that once again when it matters that we just serve up a performance like that. Still possible, Hull away will be a tough game for Arsenal.

Put United to the sword on Sunday and we'll be back in it.

  3. Very positive. Suprised and not surprised that McCarthy is on the bench. Think that tells us everything about how he envisions Palace to play tonight.

Unfortunately I've got to go on an internet black out until later when I can watch the game.

Got to be patient and try and not get frustrated, the breakthrough will come.

  4. It's the right and proper time for Arsenal and their fans to have a serious reality check. Some of the comments from Gooner fans slating Giroud yesterday before he scored said everything.

The sooner we can provide that reality check for them and that 4th is not a divine right the better. Seems like progress is being made, they thought the title was their divine right earlier in the season and know they're singing "Are you watching Everton" - Yes, we are watching and I loved RM's retort to Wenger trying to exert pressure on the team.

As he says we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Hoping for a win and a few goals to top up the goal difference but seems like it will come down to the final game. A draw will not be the end of the world. Palace have become a very tidy outfit since Pulis took over.

  5. McCarthy and Barry have done wonders for us, but I can't think that many would not wish to have Gibson available now. Barry's on 9 yellow and certain to pick another up in the run in. Who comes in when he misses two games? Do we rest him against Palace to be sure of having him for United? I think I would, Barkley and McCarthy deep, we have enough players to rotate further forward, leave out Gerry who is too much of a defensive liability and play McGeady and Mirralas who will do their duties.

How far away is Gibson, will ge be back before the end of the campaign? Going to be a real crunch this last month, every match bigger than the last. I think I recall Francisco Jr being sent out on loan, do we have any other youth who can be called upon in the centre of the pitch or are we stuck with Osman/Barkley to fill in should either of the usual duo miss out?

The amnesty for yellow cards is on now so Barry can play in all the games except the City game.

  6. Pulis has done a fantastic job at Palace. I'm not sure if he'll stay around long considering the restrictions that he'll have to manage under moving into subsequent seasons but he appears to be doing a job and be in line for a fat bonus for keeping them up.

It'll be a really tough game. Will take a sneaky 1-0 win if it comes to it although a few goals to add to our goal difference won't go a miss.

  7. No getting away from the fact that this was the type of game that we had to win in order to put pressure on Arsenal. Now we have the 3pts I'm going to pretend that performance/game didn't happen and look forward to Wednesday.

  8.

exactly, do you see stones/jags/distin/alcaraz to red shite rumors? no because they don't want them. same thing.

I'd say it's because they know the players are under contract and settled. The RS would jump at a chance to sign Jags and Stones if they were available which they're not so nothing to write about.

  9. true, but they're shite and will most likely be despondent after an ass-whooping in Munich

And with the final whistle in Berlin their season will be over.

I agree with you. Deulofeu and McGeady, with their speed and trickery, may be the key players in this game.

Agree as well. I think we'll see a few changes as he will want to ensure the players are fresh for United and City. I'd expect Ross to come on as a sub for the Sunderland game and be rested for Palace.
