When I was really young I would always be Ian Wright, thought he was brilliant. I met him a couple of years ago and told him how I loved him when I was a kid, he's a proper sound fella actually. When I got a bit older and started playing properly, I was always Zidane. Best player to play the game IMO.

Young CBs need to play to develop, how often do you replace a defender during a game unless they get injured? John Stones came on leaps and bounds when Jags and Alcaraz were injured. Shane Duffy didn't develop nowhere near as much as he would have had he got game time. You need proven CBs on the bench for decent depth IMO.

Why do we need a centre half under 30? Most CBs have their best years post 30, if we could have got him for free and got 2/3 years out of him I think that would have been seen as a decent bit of business.
