I think you've misunderstood me there mate, could have been the context but my post wasn't a reference to Toffee Talk.
-
Black - Name them.
Red - Oh yes there is.
How come I have to name them and you don't?
Come on, he's the fourth most productive striker in the league, there is no argument he is shit we're really just arguing whether he's the right player for the club.
-
Seems like theres plenty who would keep him given the chance despite how disruptive he's been, theres not a person on here who thinks he's shit but to make the argument he's not as good as he and certain media/pundits think he is, is just as valid as any other argument despite it mostly being met with claims of heresy.
-
whos making excuses? All people are saying is don't dismiss the counter arguments because they don't suit the "against" crowd

The sad thing is people are still making excuses for this treacherous kent while he is openly denigrating the club.
-
but I'm not so sure they will score and assist as many as Rom in the last couple of years.
Lets face it, we haven't lost a striker like Rom since we lost Lineker to Barca and we all know that following season was a disaster
-
Some people actually want to discuss his game too including who he scores against, how he scores etc seeing as its his one job, its the "Romelu Lukaku" thread, not the "Suck Rom Off" thread.
-
Current PL strikers against 'Top 6' opposition. Goals. That's it. No other factors included. (I have included FA Cup and League Cup).

I'm confuz0red now, are you going off a different season?
Top 6 sides are in the top 6.
-
Not even top 6 sides, if you think you are a world class UCL striker like Rom does then you need to be prolific against top 3 sides.
-
He scored against Southampton, Man City, Leicester, West Ham , The Shite, Stoke and Chelsea. That's 7 out of the top 10 so I don't se your point
Only three of those teams are in the top 6, which was the question I asked you, so thats 4 goals against top sides.
The rest of those teams leaked as many goals as we did or much worse.
-
Have I missed out on another TT myth, are we actually saying he only scores against shite teams now?
Have a look how many he got against top 6 sides this season.
-
I think we already have talent at the club and now we also have improved finances, Koeman will bring a level of man management and discipline that we haven't seen at the club in a long time.
-
Yes, no question, but he does have a strange knack of getting lucky, and when in clear sight of goal he normally makes it count.
Not against quality sides, he has a very strange knack of being an absolute darling of the media though so lets hope he keeps nicking the odd one off teams ranked outside the top 50, and we get a massive payday and fuck him right off
-
"quality player, scored an absolute screamer from 0 yards against Finland" MJB
-
We should make Simeone an offer he can't refuse.
-
Thank you sir.
-
Simeone is considering his future, can a mod add to the poll so I can change my vote stat.
-
struggle with pie issues?
fix0red.

out of position Mirallas to play up top and none of them break 10 goals.
MIrralas is not out of position up top, that's where he played before he came to us and was top scorer in the league.
We won't score less with Rom gone, they'll just get spread around,
-
He's running scared, went to shit second half of season, fluffed his lines every time he was up against it, better footballers in front of him for the Euros
65 million lol, over priced and overated.
And when its all done and dusted and the bios are published we'll no doubt find out what a treacherous kent this guy really was.
-
I think I'm leaning toward Pellegrini, will probably turn out we haven't spoken to anyone mentioned and appoint Gary Neville.
-
Usmanov has already stated his intentions on staying at Arsenal after buying Moshiri's shares
He deems them a successful "sports business project" which they are and they dwarf us in terms of revenue's and profit hence why he's very likely to stay put sadly as I'd love it to happen but I just can't see it
I wouldn't place too much weight on what Usmanov said publicly, can't see how much longer he would want to own 30% of a club he has zero control over, he doesn't seem to see eye to eye with the rest of the board and he could get a way better better ROI if he put the rest of that 300 mill + into EFC.
-
On a more worrying note, Moyes has just ruled himself out of the running for the Villa gig!
Only has one years experience taking tactical nuclear weapons to water pistol fights, one trick pony.
-
"If we were fresher, in the final quarter of the pitch we would have been able to win the game," he said.
Unai "Roberto" Emery.
I'm not sure if we're ready for another Spanish manager.

I've read that back and I'm not sure what I was on about there, few wines and was late. Mea Culpa
