  1. I don't think a game has been anymore must win than this game all season. We must win this game.
  2. We almost beat them at home, we'll batter them away
  3. Stick, I'm starting to think keeping Stones against his will has been quite destabilising.
  4. Jebus, I hope Kone gets a move away this summer and finishes off his career in peace, knives out for that guy since day one. Go to bed you miserable bastards
  5. He's up with the top midfielders for assists this year
  6. Yeah just market cap, I know its not everything but its tangible. City, Chelsea and Arsenal all close and a fair way ahead of next who is those we don't mention. I see what you're saying but those days are gone, all the clubs have or are going to have sugar daddies, City now have Pep for the next 3 years and they will dominate the likes of Arsenal.
  7. "Only" because you were touting figures of 4-500 mill and they pay 3 mill a year (prior lease was half of the ticket revenue, don't take my word for it its all on wiki) Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it wasn't fortuitous but its not the reason they are now a bigger club than Arsenal.
  8. Only cost 110 mill to build and they kicked in 20 mill for the conversion (exc the expansion), so on todays interest rates half price not free. 20 mill for the conversion, what did we need for Kings Dock, 10? Sunderland build a big new stadium for cheap as chips in the 90's, not exactly flying are they.
  9. What do you mean free? They don't own it they lease it and match day revenue doesn't account for those increases in revenue, its only part of the picture. Etihad are pumping money into the greater development, it just further demonstrates the synergies you can have through PPP's if the private part of the equation actually has some money to invest, unlike us who are always trying to do it for nothing.
  10. Martinez has always maintained that if you are not a big money club, you have to try different ways in order to challenge and win things, while our current position is disappointing and frustrating I don't think he's far off. I think some fans would be happy just to finish 6-8 every year and be hard to beat. I'm pretty confident if Martinez had gone to Munted instead of Moyes he would have challenged for the title.
  11. City over 10 years, upside potential is huge:
  12. What do you base that on? The fact that a TV deal increased the value of a club he owned and he benefited from that when when he sold it? Apart from some blogs by peeved fans who think he should have walked away and left all his profit in the club, I see no evidence other than those guys are pretty shrewd operators looking to wake a sleeping giant and make money in the process.
  13. Are we seriously considering a manager with half a seasons premier league experience who doesn't even have the full support of his wife? If we're considering swapping the manager because we're mid-table and getting knocked out of cup semi finals it better be for a tried and tested all singing all dancing all winning superstar.
  14. if we finish bottom half Bobby should do the right thing and move on by "mutual consent" Bill: Fuck of Bobby Bobby: Ok boss.

  16. I would say a large part of it is that Martinez's Everton aren't boring, writing about them is easy and they expected the results to have turned around by now. Its starting now though and if we next knocked out of the league cup the flood gates are going to open and he will be under a pressure he's never felt before. We may not be a big money club but we are a big club.
  17. character ˈkarəktə/ noun 1. the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. Considering how much he cacks on about it, we are sadly lacking in this department.
