Fair play.
Take away some of the, kind of, self righteous emotional stuff in this thread, and there is a good amount of points being made. And they can't really be argued with at this moment in time.
But I'll stick to what I say, I'll wait until the end of the season and go from there. I know what I'm looking for between now and then.
Let's hope at the end of the season you're laughing at me for talking shit

I've said before if they don't want to play for us get rid now is the time.
Especilally while the offers are over 35mil+

I knew you or some one would play on my words there. Absolutely knew that would be twisted around. Sometimes I wonder if some of you lot are journalists!!! So predictable how you's scan a post and pick something to twist. So frustrating to me that.
But just to pick up on the point. It's more about not being emotionally attached to the man, even though I still support him at this point in time. That the club exists before any manager. And will do if he goes. It's not about, as you have tried to insinuate, bobbling along, happy to be mid table.
Every fan wants better for their club. That's obvious.
Of course it is, and its not about twisting words or getting one over on another poster.
it's about point of view and perception.
If I misread your post or its intent I apologise, but I took what you wrote at face value and replied to it.
I've been on here long enough to know you love the club, thats not in doubt. I just have a different opinion to you.

Being right or wrong has no meaning to me on a personal level, I'm happy to be wrong because that means we haven't wasted the season.
If you're happy to exist that's find. Personally I think that mind set has ruined clubs in the past, and in this new age of billion dollar football will see more go to rot.
We need to improve at a greater level each year, on and off the pitch just to keep pace with the pack let alone challenge for Europe.
We can't waste two seasons talking about potential, in our "everything on demand society" that isn't going to wash and the players will be off.
Results do matter.

Stopped reading after the bold bit.
The only thing that matters actually is the position after the last game of the season. Then we'll talk.
I don't think our league position at the end of the season will enhance your argument.
Happy to be wrong though.

Back on topic, Mori is looking like a bargain.
Great work by whoever scouted him, be that Martinez or one of his staff.
-
The pressure on him must be huge, there are too many throbbers just waiting to jump on his back because he put in a transfer request so as soon as he has a dip in form there are wild accusations of him having a bad attitude, being too cocky, showboating to make himself look good at the expense of the team. Its all nonsense because he has always played the same way and the manager is telling him to do just that.
Sorry Mike, wrong thread I know.
Totally agree and the thing is the lad had the the right to ask for a transfer and play for another club.
He did things the right way and didn't make a fuss when he didn't get his move, and as should be expected witn a young player is now suffering from a dip in form.
The only thing is and this my opinion only, once a decision has been made to move on (in any aspect of life) it is very difficult to stay 100% committed if that move is denied.
-
I have no idea what to expect from this game.
Will we be committed and play good football or will we play like we did against Swansea.
It is quite literally a lottery, hopefully we can get a result and then kick on from there.

Totally agree , which is why at this present moment in time IMHO Jags and Stones are our strongest pair
The lad has the quality and the desire to become a great and the one thing he does have in his locker that the aforementioned duo don't is his eye for a goal
On current form I would play Mori ahead of Stones. I think Stones needs a couple of weeks out of the limelight.

“My philosophy and my way of working is not to keep clean sheets, my philosophy is to win games,”
He is achieving one out of two on that front then
50% success rate can't be bad?

Weeds - middle couple of series were weird but otherwise very funny

They have, but silverware and attendance wise over footballing history is miles off.
Agreed but history is becoming less relevant in football now.
Maybe not to the fans but generally speaking it's all about the money.

Think you mean poor, because without doubt Chelsea are the smaller team in terms of just about every other aspect of a club.
Incredibly disrespectful comment from a Blue.
TBF they've gone along away to redressing that in the last decade or so, but you're right.

Agreed. But if he is fully medically/match/superduper fit, I would like to see him get some time if he can give Barry a breather. Alternatively, start Cleverley and Besic in the DM roles. It's more about giving Barry a rest than getting McCarthy back imho.
Agreed, he's been very good this year and I personally want our strongest side playing against City.
TC and Besic would be a decent pairing. Perhaps we could see a slight change in formation and go 4141?
-
I see your point, but you have to be careful thinking like that.
Plenty of teams have thrown everything at the semi, and haven't been to replicate that level of performance in the final.
-
Not yet, at the moment there're just intimate, we're awaiting an announcement .
I already have a hat luckily.
Ha ha TT's very own love story, just what this season needed.

Bloody Martinez!!!
Fking hell, drop Howard for this. Robles wouldn't have let this happen.
