  16. I am not being negative or appearing downbeat I just don't think we will sign anyone permanently. We may bring in some loanees but as Adziom commented how many can we have on loan? For loans what about Pavlyuchenko from Spurs, or a cheeky loan bid for De Foe. Maybe look into Man Citys' squad and seek some from there. Johnson, De Jong, Kolo Toure are not getting regular spots at the moment, realistically would these be possible? If we do manage to scrape some money I cannot see us dealing with the top end of the premiership, for one we probably we won't be able to afford them. I am not one for scouring the continent for who plays where, so I really can't comment there. Realistically if Moyes gets £5 million, if any more I would be totally surprised then we will be dealing with the 'Beckford' type of signing, is that good enough?

  20. FAO SAM Sam it looks like you will be our sole correspondent for a question and answer session. I tried logging onto forums but had no look in finding a suitable Norwich one. So if you are willing could you answer the following: 1. The appointment of Paul Lambert as manager looks to have paid real dividends so far. What did you think of his appointment and did 'That Colchester' result have any influence on the decision. p.s Colchester beat Norwich 7-1 at Carrow Road with Lambert in charge. 2. With the likes of Morison and Holt up front it appears Norwich prefer the long ball, or old style centre forward play. Is this the case or are you able to adapt styles accordingly? 3. The Norwich defence does not appear to have the established, battle hardened, long time pros. Do you think this will have any affect for the rest of the season or will this be addressed in the transfer window? 4. What is the normal set up for an away game? We have seen the brave attempts at Stamford Bridge, Anfield and Old Trafford this season. Is this type of performance saved for the 'big boys' and we will see a more reseved appraoch on Saturday? 5. Who has been your stand out player so far this season and who will carry the good start through to the end of the season? 6. Which Everton player do you think would make an impact in a yellow shirt and is there anyone you fear on Saturday? 7. Your predicitions for the game, heart and head? For the return game over Easter we shall once again be staying at the Hilton which overlooks the ground. As we behaved so well during last years pre-season friendly the management have given us the same price for our stay over. Sam feel free to pass these questions onto any other Canaries in your vicinity. Good Luck for the rest of the season, after Saturday of course.
  21. One last go for the evening, i'm just a sucker for trivia. 4 what magazine wrote Fighting for peace is like fucking for chastity......Has to be a soft porn mag, probably a Hugh Heffner job, Penthouse 5 In what film was line A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do........mmmm thought that was a myth, rather like Bogarts line in Casablanca. If it is true then True Grit, rather apt. 6 Which famous whore said - God is love but get it in writing........A famous whore, apart from my previous one the only other I can think of is Gypsey Rose Lee. 7 Jenny Von Westphalen was married to who......Westphalen is a German weiss beer, so a famous German, i'll leave Adolf alone and go for Mozart 9 Who wrote the music for the film ET......Randy Newman did a few. 10 In Greek legend what was Pygmalion's kingdom.....Kypros, ancient word for Cyprus
  22. A cheeky loan bid for Tevez. He wouldn't be able to play against Citeh. It wouldn't have any affect on us finishing above them but would piss off the other 18 clubs in the Premiership.
  23. Bugger me I was close with laces for Youngs invention. Love the answer though, different shoes for different feet. Folk walking round with shoes same shape, easy to half hinch them from the shop. Who is Ben Casey anyway? and I may have got round to Alexander the Great after exhausting other deceased notables.
