  1. Sky reporting he is at Finch Farm having a medical. Just the one question.....................WHY?????
  2. Well £120 of my money wasted and it is not often I complain about that as I know it is my choice to attend expensive away games. However I am at breaking point watching us playing the top teams and providing no ambition. No away win against Man Utd, Arsenal Chelsea or Liverpool in 50 attempts is no coinicidence, it is a lack of ambition and inept tactics. I really can't believe how people can think we played ok yesterday. I predicted the same tactics as against Man City and although we had a couple more chances yesterday it was basically the same performance. Unbelievably slow when we can break, Saha got the ball a few times but had to hold it up for ten seconds or so (a lifetime in football) before he had any support, Cahill just doesn't get forward enough to support the front man, Coleman has been found out as an attacking player as he runs at brickwalls and we have become fragile at set pieces, mainly due to Howard constantly staying on his line even when the ball is five yards from the goal. Defensive, damage limitation tactics, even at two goals down, spreads lack of ambition across the whole team. I remember when Moyes first came to the club and he mad a bold statement that he was about attacking football, if they score three we score four, well where has that gone as I haven't sen that for a while. Me thinks Moyes has got a new job for Arriva has he loves parking that bus at Stamford Bridge, Anfield, Etihad, the Emirates and Old Trafford. Not happy or vaguely optimistic at present......................however six points out of the next six wil change that.
  3. We will play a similar line up as at Man City, play the same way tactically and end up with the same result. My previously tone of optimism optimism optimism has suddenly eased off. Here's hoping I am completely wrong.
  4. Cheers Bill, I shall go gunning for your high score. I presume you will stil be posting after relinquishing your admin role?
  5. True though Bill, I had 26,000 odd when game was up but it didn't let me submit, it just flashed back to the main board. By the way how do you play Ghost Pool, sometimes you may have a blue ball at the front but no blue balls appear to shoot them meaning you have no chance of completing the level. Also struggling with catch the bees and the jumping over obstacles part.
  6. I got the high score in Gold Miner Classic but it wouldn't save, it went straight to main board, that would have got me outright lead.
  7. Very bad start to the day, with having a dad born in Ireland and me being English, was looking forward to a nice England v Ireland semi. Oh dear!!!
  8. Haha, how bloody ironic was that OR was it?
  9. Of course Bill, been doing the rounds since tea-time yesterday.
  10. Wayne Rooney is gutted that he was sent off in the 32nd minute of tonight's England game. What is 9 inches long and hangs off a dirty c*nt? Andy Carroll's pony tail.
  11. Well if true that makes me feel a whole lot f**king better, I think not.
  12. That is correct but as you indicate there are many meanings for the term understand. Which ones we interpret in this topic will highlight the differences in opinions. The ones I highlighted are relevant to my understanding of peoples actions, however the ones you indicated I acknowledge as having no relevance to my understanding of individuals actions as I am not tolerant or sympathetic to the individuals involved.
  13. See the highlighted above for the 'UNDERSTANDING' regarding the topic. Point 1, vtr, and Point 1a, vintr, are the general points I am making. Point 2 I can relate to from my own work base as a manager in a psychiatric unit with a psychological background. Point 3a can be relevant to actions as well as words. If you read the meanings/ description you have kindly offered this thread then you will actually realise that you understand why people behave like they do.
  14. Again Laffo that is my point I can differentiate Again Laffo mate that is my point, you are actually agreeing in essence about understanding. Of course I would understand why you hit her, she has belittled you/ hurt you/ humiliated you and you retaliated because, like I said earlier, one action causally determines another.
  15. That is my whole point I have condemned it, I have not condoned it, I know behaviour like that has no place in society but the points you illustrated show why people do what they do, and that is your understanding, and that is why I understand why they do it. Every action has a reason behind it that is all I am saying. In a psychological context "Every cause is the effect of some cause or causes; or that everything is not only determinate but causally determined....if true, it holds not only for all things that have existed or occurred but for all things that we do or ever will do"
  16. I didn't say he shouldn't I was merely pointing out what happened but as you are a red attempting to wind people up I shall ignore you..................oops to late I took the bait.
  17. Mogsy, you are totally missing the point about understanding why people react like they do. I am not going to explain again because it obviously isn't sinking in but mull these over and ask yourself why: People shoot/ stab people people rob people people shout obscenities at people people throw objects at people.
  18. Mogsy mate. I don't see how you cannot understand why people would want to throw things. I know it's wrong, you know it's wrong and probably those who did it know it's wrong but in the heat of the moment people react differently (sounding like a stuck record now), rightly or wrongly, that is how I understand why people do things differently to others. Put it this way if I went to the bookies and told them what had happened earlier in the game the odds I would have got on a bottle or anything else being thrown would have been very low. I knew and probably 9/10ths of the ground knew what was going to happen as soon as they got a corner or scored because we understand that we all behave differently, again rightly or wrongly.
  19. I agree, plus his efforts on goal got him my vote.
  20. Matt I understand because I acknowledge that as individuals we react to different things differently. I reiterate what I have said a couple of times before on this thread, myself, and Duncan, are not condoning it but we understand why it happens.
  21. I am not looking for an argument myself and the only justification I may have offered is the fact that poeple react to different situations in different ways, unfortunately that is part of life which ever way you look at it.
