  1. All of this except I believe Rondon is definitely a waste of space at this point in his career. Strong player at one time, but he's past it now. Never had pace to begin with and now he's lost a step on top of it. I don't think anyone else on our roster is a waste of space—they're just being utilized woefully ineffectively by a manager with zero clue. Even Keane and Holgate are massively talented and Keane was arguably our best defender just last year. They just now play like shit every single week for us and we all should really be asking why that is.
  2. The only thing I disagree with is that I think it's entirely possible we get drawn into a relegation scrap at this point. I don't think we will get relegated because there are clubs with far less talent than we have at the bottom. But with the way we've been playing, something's gotta give soon for us to avoid the possibility entirely. I do agree that we can't just have a manager carousel. The Rafa appointment was just so wrong from the start. So long as we avoid that relegation scrap, I'm willing to give him that 18-24 months so we can find the real next manager of this club and get it right for once.
  3. I'm obviously happy to win. I'm not hoping to fail just to get Rafa out. It's just hard to watch performances like that and not feel that we should be so much better.
  4. That's the relief part. The dismay is that it was even close. Part of that is down to Friend. But as much as I am not surprised by our performance, @Cornish Steve is right that it never should have been close enough to have the refereeing matter.
  5. The correct emotions are relief and dismay.
  6. We've one win in twelve in the Premier League and we just got outclassed in large portions of a match against a lower-championship side. I don't know how anyone could have watched this and been happy about the state of the club. We're in shambles.
  7. After 100 minutes against a soon-to-be League One side. Good for us. Not exactly glowing evidence of Rafa's competence.
  8. Gbamin? Leaving Rondon's useless ass on the pitch the entire game? Doucoure hasn't done anything wrong but not exactly an impact sub. Townsend and Dobbin both should have been on earlier than they were.
  9. Notice how all of Hull's subs made immediate impacts? Strange, it's like their manager knows what he's doing.
  10. Gbamin looked happier than anyone. Gotta feel for the guy.
  11. Friend has to be disappointed now. He's worked so hard.
  12. No idea how this man still has a job. I cringe every time I see his name.
  13. I mean in theory, yes. In practice, I'm not sure what team you've been watching, but these are about our level as of late.
  14. How convenient that they catch a marginal offside but not two blatant handballs.
  15. Kevin Friend is shit. Always has been. Perfect ref to have against us in a game with no VAR.
  16. Haven't had time to post much this year but we are so, so, so poor. This is all so predictable and still so painful.
  17. Worried about Richy. We’re not good enough to lose him, and I fear incidents like that will turn his head further. All his own making, of course, but not what you want to see from one of your key players who has rumors swirling around his head.
  18. Brighton’s tackling is next level today. The difference in this match so far. Until that. Get in Gray.
  19. Couldn’t get the ball sorted at his feet. They all kind of look like they haven’t kicked a ball since last week to be honest.
  20. Also, I thought the ref did well in the first half, but the second half was ridiculous. I'm pretty sure there was a handball in the buildup to Rafinha's goal for one, but the fact that in a physical game like that one, we had 13 fouls to Leeds' 6 is pretty shocking. A lot of poor calls against us in the second half.
