  1. He's over hyped by his fans and over criticised by his doubters, he's had games where he has been top notch defensively against some of the best players in the world, different types of players too from Aguero, Rooney through to Andy Carroll. I do agree though like people have said I think he needs to do an Eric dier and go dmc this would give him slightly more freedom to play, alternatively he could stop trying to play as last man unless the game is at the point it's worth taking a risk!
  2. Unfounded, he's a skillful player so you assume he's an arrogant kid?! Nonsense.
  3. Chelsea fans are a special breed, I know all teams have their percentage of pillocks and maybe it's because I'm a Northerner, but I just find their level of delusion incomparable.
  4. Class goal but wtf was Cahill doing?! Full 360, had a mare.
  5. Raw generally means he's got attributes of an athlete/footballer but not the technical ability, whether the technical ability develops, comes with game time and confidence is the hope. Sadly majority of modern day fans give players, teams and managers no grace for voodoo like things such as confidence and make sweeping assertions or matter of fact statements. Dogger = dog shit.
  6. He looks dogger but it's too early to write him off.
  7. All this ego stuff is unfounded, it's 2+2=5. People assuming he's arrogant because he's confident on the ball. Find one valid story of a teammate or pro who's played or worked with him saying he's a egotistical little belljaff , I bet you can't. I'm not sure any pro at Everton would last 2 seconds with an ego with big Dunc about, especially not one of the youths.
  8. Exactly, the game turned when Chelsea changed their tactics and then picked up momentum after jagielka poor defending, who'd be class up to that point. That a a good point away at Chelsea, just feels shit due to manor of last goal.
  9. I've seen people slating him saying he's big headed, videos of him getting abused at service stations, a post on here saying he's been shit?! also people over reacting on things that "might" have happened but didnt such as the dribble in 6 yarder which was successful, the tackle other day he got away with (karma really as he got the ball against stoke.) You've played football yourself, so you know that when you mess up you know that more than anyone in world, he'll know that diving in against stoke and man city was silly/risky, I've played with people who have spent years diving in and never learnt despite getting a bollocking every time they've given a pen away! I'm confident Stones will get there but that's part of his development. Bottom line for me is It's majority positive factors that people forget he's 21, but people need to remember he's 21!
  10. He's type of player I'd be looking at if managing any of the top sides, similiar to last year with Schniderlin, although I thought he would do better than he has been doing at United.
  11. I'd have him over Rafa any day, wonder if he'd go to Real if he does reach his potential and got approached?
  12. He's 21 , had his head turned by Chelsea, come back from injury, lost an experienced cb partner to be in a partnership with another young and inexperienced player and is playing against the likes of Aguero et al. There are lots to consider which is why people defend him when his own "supporters" seem to have started to turn on him. Regardless of his nationality the level he is playing at at such a young age is exciting, such is our nation that people would rather see him bomb than go on to be a World class England player, fans of other clubs waiting for him to make a mistake so they can state how shit he is, no doubt a lot of Everton fans will be same if he does move on seen as some have started already.
  13. Because he's young and doesn't look like a unit it seems to crop up as a negative against stones, yet I've not seen it be a glaring issue. if it was the likes of Andy Carroll would have a field day. You've only got to look at agility and speed of top attacking players, look at Aguero's goal yesterday, to realise what's most important in modern day elite defending. I'd say Smalling is probably ideal shape and size, I'd have started partnering them up internationally shortly after season started.
  14. Because his final ball is more often terrible! he's fast, coming on as a sub amplifies that but as a player at a top club he just isn't consistent enough.
  15. What a dick, he's just done a 1 2 in his own half, big headed twat, who's he think he is.
  16. He was clearly away you crank, what have you got for eyes?
