One of our best performances of the season was against Man U at Old Trafford, we played better football than them for large chunks of the game. Same goes for when we played Arsenal at Goodison a couple of weeks ago. Judge us on the Chelsea game and you're not looking at a valid picture of how much we've improved at all.

Kenwright's just been on SSN and said Manny actually phoned Moyes asking to come back. He also said Manny didn't leave under a cloud. And that there's no truth in the rumours of Moyes going to the barcodes.

Tbh it would be ridiculous to start Manny. He's not match fit having barely played, and with Man City having pace to burn it would be a stupid decision to start him. Remember when he first signed? He was sluggish even coming off the bench due to not being match fit.

I reckon he'll probably have signed in time but I can't see Moyes starting him 1-0 to us.

I would hope Everton have managed to get the fee to nothing more than £10million. Valencia do not want him, they want rid asap. That has been to our advantage, I just hope Everton realised that when they were sorting out the deal.

Fernandes is a box to box midfielder though. I wasn't the biggest Osman fan before this season but he's been superb for us and I wouldnt want Carsley keeping him out of the team tbh. The Valencia website also says there's a clause in the loan deal for a permanent transfer, no fee mentioned I don't think.

If Fernandes does come I can't see him playing alongside Carsley for long, Ossie will soon get his place back and our midfield will more than likely be: - Cahill Pienaar Fernandes Osman Arteta I don't know about anyone else but that looks a very good midfield.

I think it's an error on Moyes' part if he doesnt bring someone in. And tbh he's known for a couple of weeks we'd be without Ossie and he's known for even longer we'd be without Pienaar. Plus it's painfully obvious that past our first choice midfield we have no one. Moyes should have been lining up transfers long before the window even opened, not coming out with shit like "we'll see what's around" when it's been open a few days. The thing is, though, on the whole Moyes makes the right signings he just takes so fucking long doing it. Please Moyes; a central midfielder in January.
