Hibbert and McFadden were our best players yesterday, I thought they both played excellently. Faddy won header after header upfront and looked very lively. Hibbert, other than a couple postitional lapses and needless hoofs, had the best game I've seen him play. I agree with Mike. though, we didn't play all that well and if it had have been a better team the game would have been over within 20mins. I don't think Spuddy played all that well, that being said, he still set up a goal so you can't grumble. Jagielka had his worst performance for us so far, hopefully he can make things right next game. Neville wasn't as bad as usual but still not very good. Stubbs was shouting at everyone, mostly needlessly. For example, to Howard because he let a shot go over the bar Job done, but improvements are needed and fast.

Baines used to play left mid at Wigan, and they moved him to left back. Let's keep him there.

Not lately mate, it's been a good few years since he's played well (consistently). How are they going to pass the ball. Simple really, we buy a new RB. I know that even Neville isn't the best at RB, but I prefer him to Hibbert because he offers much more support to the right sided midfielder. But atm getting a new RB isn't the most important position we need to strengthen, left wing and a creative midfielder are. So, if, to get them I need to put up with Neville at RB for a year or so then I can do that because if we get the rest of the team sorted the rest will fall into place, and eventually we'll get a class RB in.

Have we ever tried to sign a RB that didnt come off? Not that I can remember, so obviously thats why he's in the side. Agger is far better than Lescott IMO. I'm a Lescott fan before you ask.

Lets add playing Hibbert to the bad things list. I cannot get my head around how this fool plays, Neville is a far better right back because he can attack (and cross, something Hibber doesnt know much about) and he can defend. So why does Hibbert play when he cant attack and cross (unless you want to give the ball to a fan in the stands that is) and his positional play is terrible. Yes you can say he makes some important tackles, but the truth is he wouldnt have to make half of those tackles if he had some awareness of wtf was around him. Rant over

We have a bit of an injury crisis atm, so i'm expecting a pretty piss poor starting 11 and a very crap bench on Sunday now. Yobo's ill, no Cahill, no Vaughan, still doubts over Howard, Arteta, Grav. I'd pit Hibbo and Valente in the list but we won't miss them one bit, except maybe to sit on the bench.
