  1. I couldnt give a shot about Grav signing if this happened 'coz there'd be no chance he'd ever get a game. If we got Riquelme we wouldn't have bought him for his tackling would we? It would be because he can control a game all on his own, and create chance after chance .
  2. Can I just ask why some of you are sticking Grav straight in the starting 11? Fair enough you think he's been a good signing, but better new signings than him havn't walked straight in and Grav isn't even fit atm.
  3. Do you seriously believe Grav is going to give us creativity? He's not fast enough (brainwise and skills wise) to pull it off. He won't be able to keep up anymore, and that will become abundandtly clear once he plays. I just pray he doesn't start any games, unless we're absolutely desperate. Just thinking about him playing ahead of other players in our team fills me with frustration and annoyance.
  4. I look forward to listenning to your excuses when he does fuck all. Hopefully he won't be a starter anyway and we can actually give the man who deserves a chance a go (Jagielka).
  5. You mention things he hasn't done for 2 and half years mate. He's returned to us over weight, slower, older and just plain not as good. If you're happy with going backwards then that's your choice, but me I have ambition.
  6. Yes. The interview took place before Grav signed.
  7. No I wouldn't, and I dislike Carsley so that says a lot. Hopefully Jags will take Carsley's place anyway, that's what any sane manager will do. But then again Moyes did just bring back Gravesen so you never know.
  8. Today, in an interview done at Yak's unveilling to the press.
  9. He said so himself in his interview I hope he's not playing. For one he hasn't earned to play yet, and Jags should start. Two he won't be fit. Three (I hope) he's just a bench warmer while he's here.
  10. He is number 10, I've just watched his interview on ETV and he says he's number 10.
  11. He's been given the number 10? Shows he could very well be a regular starter. Brilliant. :speak_cool:
  12. That's all true, but he's older and slower than he was and he didn't have pace in abundance anyway. Grav will probably be ahead of Jagielka as well as the rest I dread the moment when I see him do his headless chicken act at Goodison again. I'm just totally disappointed by this, what happened to building a young squad who can compete? What happened to buying a creative player? instead we by another bruiser who'll get more yellow cards than successfull passes made.
  13. Right so being embarrassed about signing a mediocre player means I should go and support someone else? I can understand that. I mean we're not heading into Europe or anything so it doesn't matter that he wouldn't be able to keep up with the play. Whoops we are aren't we, silly me. He failed in Scotland and they are fucking ecstatic to get rid of him, it says it all really doesn't it? MASSIVE step backwards when we should be looking forwards. He shouldn't get in ahead of any of our midfielders, even Carsley.
  14. It's all good and well having squad players but hwen you're in Europe you need your squad players to add something to the team, which is something mad dog will not do.
  15. I'm embarrassed by this signing and so should Moyes.
  16. Any seen the pics from his unveilling? Fuckinghell the ball didnt half look tiny in his hand in one pic
  17. Moyes reckons we could have another two players in before the deadline tomorrow night. I hope so. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2696097,00.html
  18. He played well for us for 6 months in the whole time he was with us. He hasn't played well since then. He's 31 so he's not going to get better. Has been.
  19. It's supposed to be getting announced tonight. What a come down eh? A quality young midfielder to a 31 year old has been.
  20. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/...00252-19711620/ Someone get me a tissue, I think im going to cry.
  21. I'd heard he'd chosen number 22 a few days a go now, apparently it was because he felt it would be too much pressure on top of his price tag
  22. If I don't rate a player very highly I'm hardly going to want him to come on am I? He didn't do much when he came on, yes it was harder for Samba but he still didn't jump for headers. All he does is back in and to succeed in this league you need more about you than shoving your arse into someone. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love for him to succeed and show me he can do more because you need all the strikers you can get at the top level. I think a loan move would be beneficial to him.
