  1. Stubbs is supposed to be the organiser and yet our defence was all over the place when he was on the pitch. The man needs to take his place on the bench and get used to it. That's the worst Everton game I have ever had the misfortune to be in attendance.
  2. You'll find out here - http://www.toffeetalk.com/Favourite-Scottish-Team-t7593.html
  3. We only turned up for half an hour of this game, until they scored we were all over them and playing well. Once they scored we fell apart tbh. Our defence looks so dodgy with Stubbs and Hibbert in it and that needs to change next weekend. Disgraceful team selection by Moyes today. Dropping Lescott for Stubbs was fucking idiotic when he's been our best player since he got here. Hibbert should just fuck off and lie in a gutter somewhere because he is awful. Lescott showed just why he shouldn't have been dropped, once he came on he dominated the Blackburn strikers. Don't be stupid again Moyes FFS. Sooner or later the usual suspects when it comes to hoofing are going to have to learn that it just doesn't work when we have no height upfront FFS. We helped them today with our long balls, we couldn't win the ball so it was just coming right back at us. AJ's confidence must be fading with the way we play to him. Moyes should have been shouting at them to stop but he seems like us being under pressure. FINALLY Moyes realises Carsley is past it and gets him off before half time for Jagielka. And Jags showed that he should be playing every week after that MOTM performance, he took charge like no one else did. Absolutely superb this lad is. Baines played as well, I was very pleased with his performance and the LB position is his for the foreseeable future. Once again it was shown when Arteta is quiet the whole team is quiet. We desperately need Manny in there to help take the burden off of him. Even when he was quiet he still got an assist which shows his class. Faddy was getting stick from everyone where I was sitting, but I didn't feel it was neccessary. Theres not much he can do with a ball thats in the air and you've got Samba looming over you. Took his goal very well. Not a very good performance but we managed to steal a point. The team have to improve next week or Bolton will steamroll us like they've just steamrolled Reading.
  4. It won't be Monday because its a bank holiday. Moyes has said today though that it won't be long for Fernandes, just waiting for the Premier League to OK the final piece of paperwork
  5. They're not signed yet, but they should be ours sometime next week. Other news is David Moyes has run off with Bill Kenwrights mother and we now have George Graham in charge
  6. The 18 year old QPR striker died last night in a car crash. The QPR game has been post poned today. Terrible news for someone to die so young.
  7. Leighton Baines for me too. As much as the other players will add to the team, he will be the most important signing we've made IMO.
  8. Mate Im sorry for your loss, I can't even imagine what you and your family is going through. If anyone who knows anything has a heart they'll come forward and let it be known. I hope that everyone respects your brother at the match tomorrow, I know I will.

  13. I feel like my world has just fell apart around my ears. I didn't expect it to feel this bad, I thought I could just get on with it.
  14. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0400eve...-name_page.html Won't be playing on Saturday
  15. Im not backing them, not in a million years. i know I said yesterday I hoped people could swallow their pride etc but now that it's happened I can't, I refuse to get behind our board.
  16. I don't know about anyone else but I feel like crying
  17. I want to know where this "world class" stadium shit has come from, all I've seen so far is a second class stadium.
  18. Look up a bit, I've posted the results. They're on the official site as well now.
  19. A statement from Everton Football Club - August 24, 2007 Everton Football Club acknowledges that a majority of those Evertonians who were eligible to vote in the ballot do support the Club in its desire to relocate to a new home in Kirkby. We are the only major club in Europe to have handed over a decision of such importance and magnitude to its fan-base – something which simply serves to underscore the enormously high regard in which we hold our supporters. We now have a mandate to carry on negotiations with our two project partners – Knowsley Borough Council and Tesco. The Club’s Board of Directors, the management staff and the players would like to thank all those who participated in the ballot. We would also like to thank the Electoral Reform Services who ran the ballot on our behalf in a diligent and wholly professional manner. Whilst we concede that the proposed move has undoubtedly provoked a heated and sustained debate, it is reassuring to know that the majority of Evertonians do support the Club as it pursues its long-held desire to provide a world-class stadium for its world-class support. The result comes at the end of a transparent, democratic process and we believe that now is the time for all supporters of Everton Football Club to set aside any differences of opinion and unite for the common good. The simple truth is, we all want the same thing – a thriving, ambitious and prosperous club away from the field of play and an attractive, competitive team on it. Number of voting packs dispatched 36,662 Number of votes received 25,761 Number of votes found to be invalid 63 Total number of valid votes 25,698 Turnout 70.27% Question Based on the foregoing information, the Board is inclined to pursue the building of a new stadium in Kirkby. The Board promised to ballot Evertonians to ascertain their views on this move. The question is: Are you in favour of relocating Everton Football Club to Kirkby? The Result Yes 15,230 59.27% NO 10,468 40.73%
  20. It is 59% who voted yes and 11,000 people didnt even return their votes. Call me a twat, but I'm not arsed because this a very sad day.
  21. From The Times - Everton have signed Yakubu Ayegbeni for a club record £11.25 million from Middlesbrough, subject to a work permit. The Nigeria striker has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2012 and is expected to make his début at home to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
  22. Mate I'm one of the ones that's been saying Yak is worth every penny, I'm hardly going to say he's going to be a flop am i?
  23. Did I mention names? I wasn't suggesting anything like that, but I'm pretty sure Yakubu won't be our last ever number 9 in our history.
