  1. Mirror (FFS) reporting that he wanted the penalty and was a bit peeved that it wasn't his. There appear to be Koeman comments on this subject regards the positioning of the game (then just 1-0) etc.

We all want him to get goals, theres no forgiving Mirallas for the west brom hissy fit and the fa cup semi means Lukaku aint in top books for pen duty either. Score more from open play, who'd you think you are, Lampard (meh!)

  2. I think it's the slow realisation that he needs energy in the middle of the park rather than overall ability. If you play long ball, you don't need quality in midfield, just hard working ball winners jumping on the second ball.

Oh dear, not another pig-thick mug that can't see the wood for the trees. (Only joking Ron mate, kick clown-shoes in the balls for me though)

  3. Another clean sheet is a significant plus, it's odd that our youth players are now the saviours. Were they on loan a couple of months ago when we couldnt effect games then?

Joined up team-wide concentration will be a real joy when it arrives. 90 minutes of all the players on the same wavelength following the game plan.

Over to you Koeman, pleased with the wins, points and even player selections, lets break the mental shackles and maybe even sign a first teamer.....

  4. Odd situation, Bolassie played every game and our game was set up to involve him first (even knocking him headers towin in midfield FFS) so with a tricky direct speedster the focal point of the side when he got the ACL injury Deulofeu seemed something like a player to involve to at least try to carry on the method of play that had been built.

I wonder if Deulofeu is seen as a luxury player that we simply cant afford to play as we are struggling to carry Barkley and Lukaku in the same eleven, that Barry doesn't have the mobility he once did is severely hampering the midfield, cute and smart as he is with his play oppositions are singling him out to run at.

We are a patchwork side, and because so many areas need cover it is reducing opportunities for trying new tactics, setups and fresh legs.

    Depressing.

  5. Yeah yeah. For you it doesn't matter how the players actually play, you just see them doing something exciting once in a while and they are great. You obviously don't see how players play when they are not in possession and you only care about the highlight reels. If Deulofeu played 90 minutes you'd get a really great Youtube video at the end of season but it would completely lack context - for instance how badly Coleman would be exposed in every game because either Deulofeu walks hands on hips 30 yards too high up with Coleman facing two attackers or just being run past because he has no clue on how to defend or mark (at least in the latter he tries, but you can't usually even say that). Nor does it show the nine out of ten situations where he picks the wrong choice. As for his crossing, yes, it's technically great but he doesn't look where players are. Contrast Baines, for instance yesterday's cross to Barkley, he very clearly looks where players are and put a beautiful cross in the danger area. Deulofeu probably would have crossed somewhere else (assuming he didn't loose the ball by trying to beat the same man three times first) and the sulked hands on hips because no-one could read his mind.

Mirallas is completely anonymous for most matches.

Funes Mori is another for the highlight reels because it doesn't show his poor positioning or how he forgets his man in box all too often. Or his lack of pace. But he does have a few great headers, runs and tackles every season so you can make a reel that makes him look like a world-beater.

Good point, theres a real issue with Mr Baines after that yesterday, wheres it been previous and whats the story on corners.

  6. I personally think people are more disillusioned about the way we are playing than the results, last season we played better football when in possession of the ball, but let ourselves down defensively so that needed working on, and early on it looked like he had cracked it but last 10-12 games have been on a par with last season, and I don't find having to come back from a goal down to salvage a point from teams we'd like to think we are better than a positive, to me it's a negative that we keep finding ourselves in that position, unless the the reality is we aren't better than Hulls of this league which is looking more like the case, and if so that's down to Koeman, because I can assure you we never looked like the worst team in the league last season.

    Say what???

Worst home form in the clubs history wasn't it? I'm all for a bit of revisionism but lets let the dust settle a little bit before we grant clown-shoes a stay of execution.

  7. There's a certain difference between someone who was here for three seasons and how many transfer windows, six? and a team that finished sixth and someone who haven't had one decent transfer window and was left with a team of overrated or overage players.

People still think someone like Mirallas is a good player. He's now had three managers to prove that. How many good games has he had out of the 130 games he has played? Deulofeu was a Martinez type player, looks great on Youtube, spends most of the game doing jack all. Flatters to deceive is putting it mildly. Barry, Jagielka and Baines all need replacing (and I do wonder why Barry and Baines were offered extensions, Baines I could just about but Barry is just so past it). Niasse was a joke. Funes Mori is good enough to sit on the bench, not start every game. Cleverley, another Martinez player, ultimately produces very little.

Erm, excuse me, Kone and Robles, lets put it all on show so as not to under play how badly a job the stupid cunt previous did, and theres still supporters of him.

Cleverly on a free doesn't hurt the balance sheet, Alcaraz away at our former home certainly does. Somehow McCarthy is only fit for international duty and McGeady is hardly chopping up whichever lower league he's occupying now. Cashing in Naismith was a masterstroke of cuntish proportions.

The harm done to us took three seasons of insane stupidity, it'll take that to get us close to where Moyes left us, and there are no guarantees, coughing up £11million to the feckless dickhead that did it to us really is the icing on the cake. and theres still supporters of him.

It's time to heal, and drag ourselves through yet another tough time, be thankful fixtures have gone as well as they have for us and be thankful we aren't on for a relegation dogfight. Cunt-face clown-shoes took 80% of a season to undermine what he was left, and its alot easier to destroy than it is to create. The squad has aged since then and we need an eye to the future as well as plugging the gaps currently. Lets be thankful we fucked martinez off and it only cost us £11million and a lemon from the Ukraine league, it could have been worse.

Question to the twat-eyed clown-shoe warriors, has any other manager had a protest planned for the end of season awards that resulted in their removal. Everton firsts remember.

  8. Evertonians: Being Tossers Since 1878.

Manager has been here for half a season and some are already crying about not going to matches anymore if he's not sacked.

    FFS!

To be fair, an awful lot of the support saw a turkey winging it for two and a half seasons under the previous regime and were hoarse with screaming about it then. I want constructive criticism, and have set out my stall as such. If our current manager is the straight talking no nonsense type, lets have a proper dose of it, no messing around....

...."I can't set my game plan out with the rubbish at my disposal"

...."I can only patchup the gaping holes in the squad with what I have currently, there simply isn't enough quality either in thesenior squad or the mythical conveyor belt of the youth program"

...."I've fallen out with a lot of the internationals in the squad and now I'm needing them they aren't there for me, the club or the support"

...."I pick the side and the set up, I keep getting it wrong every time, I dont knowwhy I do this, I just gowith my professional feeling on the matter, it's asthough I'm cursed and I have the midas touch in reverse. From now on I'll pick and set up the opposite of what my gut/instinct/the tea leaves suggest"

Cutting Niasse's throat, chucking Barkley under the bus, yet persisting with others who aren't doing it, mixed messages, busy transfer windows, players not willing to sign, shaping the squad, lets just have an honest appraisal, the former manager is a clown and when he was here was totally out of hisdepth, he left numerous problems that I am only now realising exist and it'll take time to fix.

Down the previous regime, stick the knife (and gun) right in and twist it off, it didn't take a window or two to get this side so unbalanced and unconfident. The long term harm done will takea long term to undo.

    That'd do it.

  9. You know what I'd he did this and lost, then we would still be able to say "oh well, we had a try and it didn't work out".

No doubt it won't. Something like 3 wins in 15 games is absolutely dreadful and we're more than lucky to be where we are in the table.

Says a lot about the rest of the league doesn't it.

  10. To be honest I would have too. The games we've lost to the likes of Burnley, Watford and Bournemouth plus draw like tonight, Swansea and Palace have been very poor but to me it just shows that this squad needs a massive overhaul and a much better mentality installed.

How much will he cost and how much does he want paying?

  11. I don't get the subs point... Davies brought us more energy like he did vs Leicester. Calvert Lewis was involved in the equaliser and could have won it. Mori coming on gave Coleman and Baines more licence to roam up the wings which almost resulted in us winning 2-3. We need better options from the bench which will come when Koeman brings in more of 'his' players.

Then why the shilly-shallying with Lennon, Davies adding legs in midfield was a positive call, Calvert-Lewis wasn't my choice for it then, why run Deulofeu into the ground preseason up front alone and then disregard him, they had players on yellows and a very quick option thats been utilized forward and is a higher level international than our new youth signing ought to be used or not if theres a reason.

Theres sounds coming out that Deulofeu and Mori and possibly Barkley arent in our managers plans, so why rely on them now if theres other players that are in our plans. Unless our current manager is getting set to gut 50%+ of our squad, he aint hid his disdain for Niasse, so why the mixed messages.

Some Evertonians (like me) have become acutely sensitive to the reason/excuse circuit cooked up after games, massively due to the feckless fraud that sunk us so badly previously, lets have Koeman put his hands up and say he doesnt have enough pieces to currently patch us up enough to deliver close to what he wants and that it is down solely to him that he continues to set us up wrongly every game on the spin. It's not Barkley, it's not unlucky goal keepers, it's not being too honest on the field, it's badly set up every single game one after the other. His responsibility.

I'll be very surprised if any Everton supporter can suggest honestly that our current manager is getting anything like the full quota of effort and skill from the players he has working under him. The full spectrum of reasons for these sub-par performances are open to interpretation.

  12. I'm not spending another 2 seasons waiting for our manager to be sacked.

If he's not gone at the end of the season everton have lost my money as a fan.

At least he isn't bullshitting us and himself. Lets see what him and Walsh can conjure yet before we bin him like we eventually did with clown-shoes.

I just want a Mario Gomez in or someone the same to join us up up front, Koeman did the business with Pelle, perhaps Giabbiadini is his choice. We've all got used to Gueye being superb, a bad day at the office was due.

I'm not liking the line ups and substitutions, not one bit, but he gets a nod of approval for not telling lies yet/so far.

Truth and improvement is all there is from here.....

  13. Unlucky Hull, tame OG, goal from a FK that should've been the winner and an opposition manager that threw a defender on late when you were on the ropes.

Hull started in top gear and worked like their prem survival depended on it, whats the motivation for our players? Waiting for their turn to be overlooked or played through poor form no matter what - Totally mixed messages. Only saving grace is the man calling the shots (off goal) wont sugar coat it and tell us its all phenomenal. Thing is its him that continues to set us up on the back foot no matter who we play. It's a most awesome skill, to be able to second guess the entire league and invite pressure on ourselves every game without fail.

Turn that fact around Mr Koeman and the Holland job and WC winners medals are yours guaranteed.

P.S. Worst game from Gueye I've seen. Though this plate full of crap wasn't down to him alone.

  14. Given up on this season, hopefully we can get a manager in the summer who has the capability of dealing with players in front of him and not constantly blaming them for his inability to manage that particular bunch.

At the minute Koeman is sat on his arse telling Moshiri game after game "I cant get results with this group of players I need my own"

No, dont take the job if you cant work with the foundations.

I would rather not buy players to suit Ronald Koemans philosophy, its going to cost a lot more if we sign the players he wants, rather than sack him and get a proper premier league standard manger in, because the style of football he plays is so old fashione, one dimensional and lower leauge, that when we do get a new manager he's going to be left with Andy Caroll and andros townsend type fodder.

I am now very tired of the purposeful wrong setups and stupifying substitutions as well. Getting to post match interview 'phenomenal' levels of dislike.

Send a side out to choke a game and lets have a few 0-0's and prove any side can hold out under your managership. The current sycophantic stubbornness aint buying any fan good will, for himself or the players hes sending out strapped up with dynamite.

  15. Linesman for the good natured bit of pantomime second half, not taking himself or the situation overly serious, up for a laugh. Nice!

Second place to Mirallas for the thumbs up to the Hull support when he replaced the ball on the corner quadrant, and that they cheered him for showing he'd heard and was human enough to acknowledge them.

Shocking decision to penalise Baines for the free kick that gave them their second.
