Im still in therapy from last season
I will give it till xmas then consider my vote.

Stones for me
-
2 questions
No 1 will luk, stones, Barkley, McCarthy, etc be here in 2 years time never mind 5 years ?
No 2 where will that leave his 5 year plan. More so where does it leave us
im interested in efc now and in the future.

are you really saying you could not see wigans defence appearingThose were both before March 1st.
From then we stumbled through the next seven games picking up twenty-one points, including destroying Arsenal. It was the home loss to Palace that fucked us, even though we followed that with a win over ManU.
the cracks were covered by us scoring as soon as that dried up we were in trouble
-
Won 9, lost 3 from March 1st? Not that bad really....
Last season, I cannot (and wouldn't even bother) defend...
we were hammered by Liverpool 4 - 0 we lost at home to Sunderland
the pattern was there for all to see predictable we stumbled through games
a blind man on a galloping horse could see what was coming.
-
mr pedantic, we did not finish that season well and last season was crap18 months ago we were challenging for 4th, so....
-
Is Bills love of the club holding us back because he wont sell?
is he the main problem.
-
yes, he ran out of ideas 18 months ago.

Relax lads. He does appear to be a grade 'A' cunt. Reminds me rather of Drenthe. We'll bring in some complete unknown, from Greece or Turkey most likely, and happily watch Shakiri get himself driven out of Stoke.
I think its us who look cunts we can not compete with stoke west ham, west brom, palace, etc etc.
I think pad is right something not very nice is going on at goodison.
we will probably get a couple of journey men in on the last day.

All the names mentioned above none have a got a killer ballNo, not on the sherry. Ross works better runnng from deeper imho. With Cleverley alongside to join everything up in midfield and Jimmy Mac watching their backs I don't see why it wouldn't work. Certainly worth a try after yesterday isn't it?
at any time never mind on a regular basis.
So the number 10 problem still exists.
If you need an example watch JJ Shelvey yesterday lots of excellent through balls that opened Chelsea's defence
and hes not the best at it but hes a lot better at it than anything we have.
-
If we change our formation to a 4-1-4-1 then I am not convinced we would need the number ten as Ross could do the job from deeper.
Howard
Coleman Stones Jags Baines
McCarthy
Del boy Cleverley Ross Mirallas
Rom
Have you been on the sherry

Even the blind chicken sometimes finds the cornGreat, he can be another headless, starved chicken leading the line...

I said fergies mates most of prem managesOr he felt his chances of playing were better at Everton
Spent years 'unloved' at United got to him and wanted somewhere that appreciated him
Wanted to be a slightly bigger fish in a smaller pond
Wanted to play without pressure
Wanted to play under a manager that actually understands him and seems to get the most out of him
Wanted to stay up north as that's where he's from and settled with a new wife and start of a family
Who are United's mates? Wenger?
As for Villa fans, of course they wouldn't be bitter that a player didn't want to join them on a free....would they? (sarcastic font needed).
He certainly joined us because he would get a game ( and a 5 year deal)
Villa fans had no need for sarcasm they had watched him all season when he got a game that is.
he will fit in with RMs idea of football sideways, backwards, nothing inspirational 3 goals a season.IMO

Only Tottenham and Arsenal. No top half sides like.
http://metro.co.uk/2015/07/01/tom-cleverley-turned-down-a-transfer-offer-from-arsenal-5275116/
And before you say, but that's a just a fabricated media reports. He confirmed it in his Everton interview.
If either of them had really wanted him he would not have signed for us
if he had gone to arsenal it would have been for cup games only
if he was any good he would have been snapped up from man utd, fergie would have recommended him to one of his mates.
that's why he ended up at wigan and villa no villa supporter I have spoken to is in the least bit disappointed hes gone
I know hes signed for us and we have to talk them up but get real theres a good reason we got him
its funny people quote sky sports when it suits but say they talk bollocks when it does not
-
I think you can include cleverly there was no line of admirers wanting himEnglish and cheap? Goes against the norm that
(Bar Cleverley, which is an exception because he ran his contract down).
his contract run down through lack of interest
as you said young English talent comes at a premium
no top half prem sides were fighting for his signature.
-
That's the KK tactic at Newcastle never workedno top of the pile should be another top striker we can't win without scoring goals.
We can get by with the keepers we have for now.
first you have to stop giving away soft goals then you only have to score one not three to win a game
top priority must be a number 10 and a keeper
the rest will take care of its self if and when we sell anyone.
-
Its the thought that counts.new lineup with injuries factored in
howard (yes crusty i would prefer joel but RM won't play him sadly)
coleman stones jags baines
mccarthy barkley
osman cleverley oviedo
mirallas

It is a problem. As i've mentioned before on here, Howard's cost us upward of 10 points last season and he unsettles the defensive group as a result. They don't trust him. Or that's how it seems anyway.
A custodian like Cech, will help Arsenal's back 4 because they'll trust him to do his job.
Hear hearYep spot on. I think the defence is wobbly because they don't trust the keeper. How Martinez doesn't see this absolutely astounds me!
-
Deulefeu is injured Crusty so could Stones, Mirallas and Lukaku.
Ok I will just play with six then but they are a good six.
-
Robles
coleman Jags Stones Baines
ozzy Mccarthy Besic Del
Luk Mirallas
-
I don't think they are necessary picking himCrusty I think they are just accepting he'll be picked. He's starting and they know that so are including him in the side mate.
Everyone is just picking the team they think we'll see, and as much as we'd all like it to be different we are not the Everton manager, Roberto is and he'll pick Tim Howard.
Sadly I think you are both right.
But I thought the idea was to pick the team you wanted to see not what you think RM is going to pick.
-
I can not believe you all pick TH after last season
and don't tell me he improved at the end, the season started in August not April.
Marshall just signed for WBA 4 mill good keeper we can afford one, there are plenty of decent keepers about
its just RM sticking to old favourites worse than Moyes for that, another boring season ahead.
-
You don't like Howard?
You noticed then

He is a liability, as for keep us in the game he never made a save any keeper in that league would not have made that's his job.
I don't call hitting him the face as great, good positioning that's all
to be beaten at your near post from that angle is school boy stuff.
cleverly not tracking back fast enough then standing with his hand in the air pathetic
as for the second goal he comes running out stops half way and makes it easy for the forward to lob him
why did he not carry on coming out and make it difficult for the lad to score
anyone one who thinks they were not his fault is either a relative or does not understand what a keeper is about.
At the end of the day RM is to blame he has watched all these mistakes over the last 12 to 18 months and done nothing
if he does not think robles is the answer than why has he not got someone else in.
