  1. Havn't chosen which game i'm doing but i'm getting involved. I'm handing out leaflets at Wembley day before advertising this as well. Anyone that's not doing this really should get involved. Great idea.
  2. What would you suggest? Nobody came in form him earlier and trying to push him onto other clubs would just lower his price. A loan with a future fee agreed is pretty much the only option. It's not Everton's fault that nobody came in for him any sooner.
  3. The truth behind this all is coming out now though and it sounds as if Yobo has not been as proffesional as would appear. He's refused to play this season, hence his consistant non-inlcusion, he also refused to play some games last year. He has burned all bridges with Moyes. He wouldn't be good to have in the dressing room anymore so farming him out makes sense. Also with loaning him out we'll be able to get a good possible future fee for him as long as he impressed for Fener.
  4. The problem area has been scoring goals. The one area we have a change in the starting line-up is Beckford. This is why I said we need time to gel. There is a clear pressure over the team with goals at the moment, which is why we are trying to pass it into the net rather than taking chances earlier on when they present themselves. Once the team gets it confidence in front of goal again we'll start climbing up the table again. As for paying Felli on the drip, this is pretty much how all transfers are done now. Barely any transfer will be a large up front payment.
  5. I think people need to calm the fuck down and stop pressing the panic button. We have spent money this window. The money has gone on alterting our wage bill to tie in Arteta, Cahill, Baines and Rodwell into larger and long-term deals. That costs money as well. It'll take the team time to gel, and we've not been far off from getting more points this season. One mistake cost us against Blackburn. One mistake cost us against Wolves. One mistake cost us against Villa. Every team we've played has put at tleast ten men behind the ball. All each team does is try and stop us from playing. We still have the best squad we've had in years. If Yak can ever regain form then we have one of the most natural goalscorers in the league. Don't forget how good he can be. We have Vic to come back as well and his improvement should not be forgotten. Also the importance of Neville to the team is often forgotten and the lack of leadership on the pitch has been noticable over the last two games. Arteta and Felli will make the heart of our team but it's improtant to note that before this season i think they'd only ever started about 7 games together because of injuries to both of them over the last two years. They're partnership will take time. Calm down. These things take time. Also if i hear one more person who says "Another deadline day where we signed nobody" i'll hit them. Yes we signed nobody this deadline day, but last year we got Johnny H and the summer before Felli. They cost a combinded fee of £22m. Lets not pretend we never sign on deadline day. Everyone needs to take stock of the strong squad we have. Our squad isn't a joke and it's not the end of the world. Keep the faith.
  6. Have a cup of tea and calm down. It's better for your health.
  7. Well he signed for Porto earlier this summer... Manny Fernandes is yet to move yet though!
  8. That's the hollywood signing we've all been waiting for.
  9. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1307710/Evertons-Joseph-Yobo-joins-Fenerbahce-loan.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Joined Fener on loan. £5m future fee agreed.

  11. Hleb wouldn't really be a massive addition for us. He wasn't a huge hit at Arsenal as has gone backwards since then. He hasn't scored in the league for over two years, at either Barca or Stutgard. he's condsidered a biggish name because of the teams he's played for but he's not really that fantastic a player. Im not fussed at all. If he was that good then why are were Brum only in for him?
  12. Yobo one is tricky. WHU will only offer a loan. We want to sell. We've had interest from abroad for a sale but Yobo wants to sell in England. Yobo has, according to Colin Udoh who has been speaking with Yobo today, "Burned his bridges with Moyes". This one could go to the wire. Whatever happens there will not be time to spend any money that is brought in from any prosepctive sale now.
  13. Our late deals are usually not out of choice but because our sales have happened late. Still the recent late signings we've made have served us fairly well, Johnny H and Felli both top deadline signatures.
  14. The last few have in fairness. In fact transfer deadline day is usually always dull. The inteligent teams get sorted early
  15. I wouldnt worry too much about Obinna. Hasnt progressed as a player at all. There is a good reason why only West Ham where in for him this window.
  16. I seriously doubt there is any truth in this story. At all. I can't for one see why Wolfsburg would send out one of their leading strikers out on loan. If Dzeko got injured then it leaves them very very light up front.
  17. Agree Mike, but the club has moved on from him and he has little or no future at the club. He's served us well but his time is up. good luck to him whereever he goes but i won't miss him too much.
  18. Ibra was hardly a flop. Scored a decent amount of goals and got assists. Interesting stat. Ibra has won the league with the team he has played for every year since 2003.
  19. In the thread dedicated to transfer day there is a link supporting this. Colin Udoh, Nigerian journo spoke with him this morning and posted on Twitter about it. He's defo off today, WHU favourites but others interested. No word on if its loan or perm deal.
  20. With that kind of money lying around you could mount a serious challenge to buy to the club.
  21. With twitter it depends on the source. Some people and journos are very reliable. I think that a level of logiv should be used by the poster on here if they think the link is pertinent. You'll see the transfers break on twitter before anywhere else so it is valid, its just where you choose to take the information from. A few people who are reliable who I would recommend for today; Karlsentk ColinUdoh Daansmundo danroan FootballAgent46 honigstein jamesappell rcammisola
