  1. I'm not into that whole thing either tbh. Can't stand any of that Twilight shite or Buffy. It was actually written partly as an allagory for racism in the south of USA. It's worth it because it's not really focussing hugely on the supernatural elements.
  2. Oh dear. Can't say i'll ever agree with you on that one Mark. Speech Debelle- Speech Therapy on at the moment for me.
  3. Got to agree. This and our FA Cup final shirts are my two favourites in recent years. This years shirt is just smart, and at least they have finally got the shade of blue right. Does my head in when they deviate. The only thing I would change in future shirts is two remove the letterting of Everton under the badge. It doesn't need to be there. Barely any teams have there name so prominently written on their shirts. That's nit picking though, still a lovelly shirt
  4. The practice of an individual buying a player and leasing to another club is now outlawed in England. Hence why we had so much trouble with the Fernandes transfer. Not that you'll actually be doing this but thought i'd just point it out!
  5. Got my new shirt through yesterday as well. Really pleased with it. The cut of the shirt is so much better than last years shirts.
  6. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks/yobo-is-offered-to-celtic-1.1049270?
  7. Squillaci for £6.5m is a great buy, even if there will be little to no resale value. Great defender.
  8. I'd want Kenwright to do a little dance in the centre circle at the start of each game. Then i'd give him the money.
  9. Started on series 2 of True Blood. Fantastic series, just a shame it gets tarred with the same brush as Twilight and all that shite. It's such an inteligent show, and the writing is top notch. Created by Alan Ball, no, not that one.
  10. £50m sounds about fair. That investement in one transfer window would be a huge boost and would only eat away a little bit. Imagine if someone actually did this! They'd be a legend! We can all dream eh?
  11. Back onto Arcade Fire- The Suburbs. Such a good album. Got tickets to see them in December as well. Can't wait.
  12. Reading a book on The Knights Templars and the exermination of the Cathar faith. It's fascinating.
  13. Fair play to him. Possibly a move to try and get more Evertonians to his testimonial but still a great gesture. It's not worthwhile starting a new thread but did everyone else here that Rafa gave a huge donation to the Rhys Jones Fund from his severance package from LFC when he left. He gave half his pay off to the Hillsborough fund and half to Rhys Jones fund. Had a little more respect for him after that.... only a bit though.
  14. Right, off the top of my head i'd plump for:- Bob Dyaln- The Freewheelin' Oasis- What's The Story (Morning Glory) Arcade Fire- Neon Bible Joni Mitchell- Blue Mumford & Sons- Sigh No More
  15. It would be interesting to see what salary he wants. He should be up their with our top earners but has yet to deserve to be on par with the very top earner (Arteta). I'd hate to lose him but at the end of the day I don't want the club to have another 75k-a-week player on the books. That's around £600k every month on just two players. Madness!
  16. Colin Udoh is usually in the loop with the Nigerian lot. He mentioned the Odemwingie to West Brom move well before any of the press got onto it. As for the possible transfer itself. I just don't see what's in it for us. I spoke over twitter with Colin udoh about it and he said that there are teams abroad that are willing to pay cash for him and would meet over valuation of the player but Yobo will not move abroad. He's got a young family and one more year in England means EU Citezenship or something along those lines. I'd prefer to sell, he's been a great pro but as a club we've moved on from players of his quality. He's served us well but I wouldn't mind if I never saw him in an Everton shirt again.
  17. My first choice starting line-up most weeks would be:- ----------Howard--------- Neville Jags Johnny Baines -------Felli--Arteta------ Pienaar---Rodwell------Bily ----------Saha------------- For me Coleman is still a little away from being ready for starting all the time and I think Nev offers more in terms of his leadership, at the moment. However i've chosen Rodders over Cahill as I think that for this season we should start to see a fazing out of Cahill from an automatic starting place. I think that Timmy will be better used as an impact player as our style of play is slowly changing now and having someone as static as him in that position is a hinderance. Rodwell will offer more in that spot this year IMO.
  18. Hart, Given, Richards, A.Johnson, Milner, Barry, Bridge, SWP, Taylor, M.Johnson, Ireland (if he stays) There are enough options in their squad not to worry about home grown player rule without Lescott.
  19. My brother just given me a bell to tell me that apparently Lescott may not make city's 25 man squad. His old room mate now works for City in some context and text him about it this lunchtime. Don't know how accurate this is but he's had a few things city related bang on so far this summer so there could be something in it.
  20. Just got home and mine is waiting of the doorstep. And breathe....
  21. It's funny really. Keegan resigns from Newcastle because of the clubs sale of Milner, MON resigns from Villa because of the clubs sale of Milner. Mancini better watch out! The lads cursed!
  22. Marvelous. Cheers Mark. My mind is at ease now.
